There are good places to stay in San Antonio, for sure; and then, there is Carlos and Nancy‘s apartment… This is THE place. This is in fact, one of the best stays I’ve had anywhere in the US. What makes it so exceptional? Perfect location. Impeccable house and amenities. All of this offering a home away from home. Every detail has been carefully addressed to make the space confortable, tasteful, and functional. Soft towels, confortable beds, functional kitchen and bathrooms. Then, the hosts…. exceptionally kind, helpful and super interesting to talk to. We will come back!

If your looking for a place that is like visiting your family without the drama, this is your place. The host has a full list of everything you might need to know in the local area with tips and tricks to use. The kitchen is fully fitted to support easily 8 adults. The beds are very comfortable and have power next to them that can easily support medical devices. The neighborhood seems less than ideal but that is unfair to the host. They have a very quiet and clean street. They also have an easy to use Gated Parking. We felt very secure and private in this apartment. 10 out of 10 we will most likely use them again for our next visit to San Antonio.

This was a great place, close enough to all the things we wanted to do but still in a quiet neighborhood. Would definately stay here again when we come back to TX.

We stayed 4 nights while visiting San Antonio. Carlos and Nancy gave us great suggestions for additional sights to see and great Tex Mex dining! They were the ultimate hosts! The accommodations were perfect, very clean with clean and comfy furnishings. The kitchen had everything we needed! Highly recommend! Thanks, Carlos and Nancy for being such great hosts. We feel like we’ve met great new friends!

I wanted to take a moment to express my utmost satisfaction and gratitude for the phenomenal experience I had during my recent stay at Mulberry Tower property. The exceptional hospitality provided by Carlos and Nancy, coupled with the several layers of safety measures implemented at the property, truly exceeded my expectations. In addition, I must also highlight the attention to detail in the property's decorations. The tasteful and sweet decorations created a warm and inviting atmosphere, making me feel right at home. Every corner of the property was thoughtfully adorned, adding a touch of charm to my stay. Furthermore, I was delighted to find that the beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The hosts' dedication to providing a comfortable and cozy environment truly enhanced my overall experience and made my stay even more memorable.

We enjoyed our time in this historic second story home above the owners. Amazing communication and very safe property. Note that luggage does need to be carried upstairs. Large kitchen and 2 bedrooms gave us plenty of space. The porch was great for storm watching.

The location was great for seeing the San Antonio sights. The hosts were wonderful and provided good recommendations. Would gladly stay here again!

It was an amazing stay. The house is very cozy. The beds were comfy and my kids loved the house. Carlos & Nancy are so nice. I definitely recommend people to stay here, it's just lovely.

We were having a college-age/young professionals retreat in San Antonio, and four of us stayed at this beautiful home. We were greeted by the extremely friendly owners who were accommodating to our every need. When we first went upstairs, we not only found a clean, beautiful space and balcony patio, but we also found some fresh pan dulce that the property owners had picked up for us. From being a great location only 10ish minutes from downtown, to having so many amenities we were not expecting (USB charging station in bedroom, a nice selection of board games, an innumerable amount of beautiful blankets), the question isn’t if we’ll stay here again, it is when. Love, love, loved our experience.

This property was perfect! It was immaculate and nicely decorated. Nancy and Carlos thought of everything. There were plenty of towels, toiletries available in the bathroom and all kitchen supplies, including detergent and dishsoap. We didn't really cook, but there were all needed supplies, even Pyrex with lids for leftovers. We stayed while attending an event at Trinity University. The fresh Mexican pastries Carlos and Nancy gave us were a nice touch. Although it was just two of us, I appreciated that there were enough dining chairs for the number of people the property sleeps; so many properties do not have a sufficiently large dining area. We were very comfortable and would stay here again.

Upon arrival the hosts greeted us when we pulled up. We got to park our car inside their privacy gate which was nice. We were also greeted by their sweet German Shepard! Hosts showed us inside, how to work all the locks, showed us where everything was and were over all very helpful and accommodating. They even left us a sweet note and a bag of authentic Mexican pastries from a local bakery which we loved! The age range of our kids is big so I was a bit nervous about the smaller ones (6 & almost 2) jumping around and running since it is upstairs. The home was cozy and decorated super cute. Beds were comfy, it was really cold outside so the heated feature on the beds was pretty awesome! They also have 3 mini splits through the house so we were never uncomfortable temp wise. Provided us with plenty of towels, pillows and blankets. Overall the stay was great and I’d highly recommend to anyone traveling to San Antonio!

We unpacked our things for our 4-night stay, and from that moment on this was our beautiful little home away from home! We were close to everything we were in San Antonio to do, and we absolutely loved having this wonderful space to rest and relax in between all the busy things we had to do! The owners were very pleasant and greeted us the first day. They also left us Mexican pastries from a local bakery and waters in the fridge. The only con was the rental wasn’t as cool as we’d like but tolerable. An extra window unit in the kitchen and bathroom would of helped, blackout curtains in dining room, blinds in kitchen didn’t close since they were broken. We may head for the beach next time and visit SA in cooler temps. Overall we had a warm but nice stay.
