The Wight

The room was clean, comfortable and well laid out, with extra touches like hot chocolate sachets on the drinks tray and a row of sockets so you can plug in multiple devices at the desk, plus an adjustable nightlight in the bathroom (very helpful). Everything worked. The tv tuning was correct and up to date. Wifi was efficient. Staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. There were plenty of good breakfast choices. Free off-street parking in a private and nicely maintained car park was very helpful. The heated swimming pool with a jacuzzi and steam room wh=ere an extra treat at the end of a long day. There is a convenience store at the end of the hotel drive which is very handy and the hotel is close to the beachfront and restaurants.

The shower over the bath is a little old and small - but since I had the option of a bath, this isn't a complaint. The overhead room lights take a little while to come to full brightness but there is plenty of choice of room lighting.

Full English Breakfast was lovely and they even made me one earlier as i had to be on site at work early one morning

Really good value for money, very friendly staff. Great location and plenty of parking on site.

Breakfast could start slightly earlier to cater for any contractors but is a minor detail.

Price was too high. Entertainment was only on a Friday. Gloomy decor.
