Al Ghufran Safwah Hotel Makkah

The location is just right and perfect. One of the entrances simply lead you right on the Haram premises, and whether you are doing Umrah or just going for prayers, the entrances for both are very near accessible. Receptionists, customer service, and the housekeeping staff are also very helpful and responsive. There are plenty of lifts so you easily get one even during rush hours. There is even a speaker in your room that is connected to the Haram sound system, which feels very nice. There is a Masjid in the tower which is also connected to the Haram. There also an alarm clock in the room.

Certain things need improvement. The bathroom needs renovation. The room is fine, but the curtains and carpets were stained in some areas. Even the ironing board had a big stain on it. The iron plug was cracked and broken, and the iron sprayed dust particles on the clothes when pressing the steam button. The room was dimly lit, there was only one switch to control all of the ceiling lights. The luggage staff did not come to carry our luggage upon arrival and only came when we told the receptionist to get someone to carry our luggage. There were no bed rests for any of the beds, and the extra bed we had requested was smaller in size as compared to the other beds. The refrigerator temperature also needs to be checked and it needed a bit of cleaning. Some of the items in the minibar should be replaced with their equivalent local brands. The shower head is separate from the tap and isn't detachable.

He deserved the to be 'All-time best Employee' of this hotel. Many thanks to this staff. for next umrah trip, i'll definitely stay here again.
