Stover Lodge

The first thing I noticed was how spotlessly clean it was , Steve and Estelle are the perfect hosts , friendly and so knowledgeable about the area and gave us great advice on where to visit and how to get there Breakfast was amazing freshly cooked and catered for any specific requests , the freshly cooked treats left in the room daily were a lovely personal touch and room was cleaned daily We hope to revisit soon

That we had to leave

Warm friendly welcome when arrived from Estelle and Steve. We had room 7 and which was spotlessly clean with tea/coffee facilities. A fresh home baked treat was left daily 😍 Fresh towels daily. A 20 minute stroll down to the sea front. Ideal location for us. The breakfasts were freshly cooked and well presented with plenty of tea, coffee, juices, fruit and cereal.

Estelle and Steve were fantastic hosts, nothing was too much trouble for them always willing to help giving information, best way's to get to places. The breakfast were the best we have had, the homemade cakes and biscuits were a lovely touch and we're most welcome after a day of site seeing , the rooms were immaculate, spotlessly clean. Estelle and Steve should be very proud of themselves as they have the best b&b we have ever stayed in. We would highly recommend their b&b to everyone. Stover Lodge is ideally situated for exploring that part of Devon or even further afield as the train station is just down the road.. We will definitely be back Thank-you Estelle and Steve for making us feel so welcome and for looking after us so well. Sue& Mick

Lovely place great location, great room size well maintained inside & out

The property is near busy Road, and we had our windows open as warm so a bit of noise. But they provide ear plugs And they have bought a fan for the room also.. obviously if you don’t have the windows open, it isn’t a problem anyway. They could not be more helpful so if you do have issues they to do the best to help..
