Amazing flat right next to Galata Tower! From airport pick-up (highly recommend) to cleanliness to communication, everything was amazing. Would definitely stay again!

Everything was wonderful! A beautiful apartment and great location! Galata Tower, tram, subway, restaurants, supermarkets - everything is nearby. It's a warm and clean apartment with a terrace with a beautiful view.

The property was seconds away from Galata Tower, restaurants, cafes, shops. The property manager was there to meet us when we arrived, and replenished items when needed. Everything was very smooth from booking, arrival, during our stay, and check out. Plenty of space for a family of four with 2 large teenage boys. Centrally located to all the major sights. Access to the rooftop is a HUGE bonus! You can truly appreciate the magnificence of the city and the Galata Tower lit up, with the Bosphorous river and the ferry boats and cruise ships in the backgroung. Definitely recommend this apartment and will stay here in the future.

All communication prior to check in was timely and helpful. The apartment is very nice during our week stay. Attractive, clean, very comfortable - It was perfect for two adults that wanted to enjoy the space of two separate bedrooms and bathrooms while traveling. There are a few things I wish I'd known beforehand, however: The noise level at night is not good for anyone that likes a quiet setting. We were woken up every night between 1-2am by the apartment directly above us, by what sounded like elephants. The street and restaurant noise is extensive. This is not the apartment for those that want sleep to start before 1-2am. Perfect for night owls. The common areas are neglected in the building. The photos a rooftop patio are much nicer than current. It's simply wooden picnic tables on a roof and not as pretty or comfortable as expected. The "balcony" in the apartment is just an airspace between the two bedrooms, with a metal floor, overlooking the rooftop exhaust systems of the restaurants and shops one floor below. Not a space that was enjoyable to use as a patio. It is not a patio overlooking the street or courtyard. The dryer had been removed with no information shared with us prior to check in or at check in. While air drying clothes is not a hardship, it would have been nice to know before. The satellite tv never connected for the week we were in the apartment. Not an impact for us but notable. A map of grocers & bakers should be added in the binder.

Excellent apartment. We're very satisfied.

The owner lined up airport transportation and was there to meet us as we were dropped off at 10:45 PM by the driver . He showed us the apartment, provided keys and an overview of the area, and everything was perfect and as advertised. The location allowed us to live like locals for our six nights in Istanbul. The driver also picked us up at 5 AM on departure day to get us to the airport in time for our 9 AM flight.

This wonderful flat was exactly as pictured; comfortable and centrally located. A perfect home base for enjoying Istanbul, steps away from Galata Tower and a scenic walk or quick tram ride to the Spice Bazaar, Grand Bazaar, Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern and Topkapi Palace. Vibrant neighborhood with plenty of shops, restaurants and cafes. Our family of four (2 parents and 2 adult children) found the flat warm and comfortable, plus we received excellent support from the onsite manager. Definitely recommend this property for a visit to amazing Istanbul!

This was a “girls trip” to Istanbul. We are longtime friends in our late 50s. The property is in a great location, close to shops, restaurants and nightlife. The apartment is dated, but clean. Everything worked well. There is a tv but we never watched it. We didn’t cook either but we did use the washer/dryer, which was huge. The building itself is old and the vestibule isn’t clean, which gave it a 4-star rating. There are no cars allowed on the street so we had to walk a few blocks to get a cab. It’s an easy walk to Sultanhamet across the bridge, but there is a huge hill and lots of steps to climb to get back to the apartment, brutal after a long day! Get the very helpful staff to assist you with orientation to the unit and to show you where to catch a cab. They were extremely responsive and helpful! I would also suggest you use them to arrange your transfer to the unit as it can be hard to find the first time. The front bedroom is a bit noisy since it’s on the street. We were kept up all night one night by a neighbor who was doing construction on his apartment and was running a drill and a jackhammer all night!! Overall, I would recommend this unit. I wouldn’t go to a higher floor simply because there is no elevator in the building.

It was a very smooth and welcoming experience to check into the apartment. The place was spacious and comfortable. The location is awesome!

This apartment is a hidden gem, a delightful apartment that is both comfortable and very clean - great location next to Galata Tower, and an easy walk to the Metro (downhill) which allowed us to explore Istanbul on both sides. The team were highly efficient, the organisation of transport to and from the airport couldn't be faulted, the care given by the Istanbul team in terms of advice, facilities and availability was great - including follow up calls and emails to make sure we were happy with everything and the provision of a Metro card with an explanation of how to use it saved us lots of time and effort. Really appreciate the tea and coffee that was available when we arrived and the recommendations for restaurants were spot on. Will definitely revisit.

We totally LOVED this rental. What a great spot and an amazing location. We couldn't have chosen a better apartment for our family of 5. Centrally located, easy to get around. Super comfortable, very safe! And the team helped us with so many things- from booking a tour guide, to checking in, to helping us book a hamman, etc. They were awesome. 5 stars all around!

The property was in an excellent location for public transportation, restaurants, and sight seeing. We stayed for almost 3 weeks and absolutely enjoyed the apartment. Tarkan and his team were available and communicated promptly. We would stay at this location again.

The property had all the amenities. The neighborhood was nice and lively, without being loud. Taxi drivers were not always willing to come here though and would charge extra. 5 stars to the property manager for being very responsive and helpful!

Good overall. Great location especially considering the restrictions in place. Coffee, restaurants, and groceries steps away, under 2 minutes. Beautiful views from rooftop. We had great weather as well even though it was predicted to rain. Apartment was comfortable for staying in and inexpensive taxi rides to Sultanahmet. If you like to walk, you can walk to other side of bridge in about 40 minutes. We enjoyed our stay. A little loud as there was construction but I assume this isnt't always the case. Some night noise as well, bring earplugs to get a good night's sleep. But I would stay there again.

Great location offering access to shops, cafes and sites the minute you walk out of the door. Easy access to public transport but it means a 5 minute uphill walk when you come back to the apartment. You can always take a taxi if you don't fancy walking up the hill. The apartment itself was clean and the terrace had great views. The manager was helpful and easily contactable at any time.

Our choice to stay in the Galata area of Istanbul ~ was a very good choice. We came 17 days in November/December to take part in the wedding festivities of our beloved daughter and OUR new Turkish son! The location of Petraki Place and as well - the security of access to the apartment - ALWAYS felt Safe, even when we would be joining the throng of Galata's late night social life. Petraki Place I is a beautiful jewel. The beds were comfortable, the bed and bath linens provided were luxurious and our sleep was sound. The management contact was always responsive and helpful. We paid for a mid-stay cleaning. It was very thorough and greatly appreciated. There were two times (in a 17 day period) that tap water to the apartment was unavailable ~ but only for a brief period of time, once thru the night into a few hours of the morning. It did not alarm or surprise us as we had read of such minor interruptions in Istanbul at other reviews. We kept large plastic jugs of fresh drinking water, purchased at the nearby grocery ~ and an ample supply of tap water filled into the emptied water containers ~ in preparation for the possibility of water shortages. There are plenty of culinary options for all mealtimes, available in very close proximity to the apartment such that we did not cook in the apartment, (except to re-heat take-out pizza for breakfast! ~ from the great selection - at Miss Pizza). Tip: wear comfortable, stable shoes to navigate the cobbled-stone streets with relatively steep grade changes. We are in our early/mid 60's and found EVERYTHING about life in Galata fascinating and most enjoyable - with a good shoe. Istanbul is VERY fashion forward. You can find Everything you need ~ when you come prepared to enjoy the adventure of the hunt. We brought electric plug adaptors and one small 220/110 volt converter since we brought our coffee grinder and whole bean coffee.
