We as a family of 4/5 have used your apartments in every stay we have had when visiting Sandton. Your units are spacious comfortable and provided us with Wifi, appliances and comfort. Although the dining chairs do make a noise on the tiles. On this last visit we had noticed a few changes. T.Vs were removed from the bedrooms. Not a train smash. Pictures were hung skew in replacement of the T.V.s. We had to ask for forks as there were none. Teaspoons we had only three. Our T.V. wouldn't come on although our Wifi worked. When we asked for assistance for the T.V. to be looked at. After inspection, the T.V. worked but then the Wifi stopped working. The Wifi did not work outside of load shedding times. Somehow on our last day with staying we had not hot water. Disappointing and need to rethink using DMWA on our next visit.

the space was really nice and clean

the host didn’t inform us until the day they dont have a generator/ invertor so we were experiencing no power multiple times a day during our stay. When booking we were looking for a space with air conditioning so it was really disappointing when we didn’t even have lights 40% of the trip. We contacted the host and we’re informed she will arrange torches for us but we did not receive any. we also only received 3 towels between 4 of us.

the garbage in the kitchen was full of waste no bathroom rugs

The Rooms were clean neat and big. The beds were comfy. The internet was fast. The security were accommodating, as we were not given remotes to the gates, they opened and closed each time.

The lack of DSTV

it was better than what we expected and the apartment was conveniently close to everything

Location was nice and apartment was spacious with a nice tv and couches.

Place was very dirty, there was thick dust on the blind above my bed which was very bad for my hayfever. It even had a hand print which was visible from all the dust on it (I took a picture of how bad it was) I had to pay a large amount of over R1000 for “cleaning” but no one came to clean at all during my stay! We were only given 1 hand towel and 1 bath towel in the rooms- for the entire 4 nights! Had to use wet, dirty towels. I tried calling the number made available in the email four times to complain and there was no answer. The water was cold!! Which was very pathetic to take cold showers during winter. No host nor welcoming, no effective way of contacting anyone for help or necessities. Not enough towels or toilet paper. There was a dishwasher, but no dishwashing powder or tablets so we had to wash the dishes ourselves, since nobody came to actually do any cleaning! The one basin the bathroom was also clogged and had a prop that couldn’t come up.

Location ws excellent. Apartment was clean, cosy and fully kitted out. The beds were comfortable and the process to get keys after hours was easy. the Complex is safe and security personell
