Mövenpick Resort Al Marjan Island

The hotel is nice and clean, the beach is good, and the staff are friendly. There is adaquate space around the pool and sufficient beds for the number of guests. The food is OK but average.

The food in The Market is quite repetitive, same dishes served every night. The All Inclusive package was disappointing. Only one brand of beer on offer, if you dont like it bad luck. Also the all inclusive is not available around the adult pool, which means walking to the beach bar every time you want a drink. The All Inclusive is not accpeted on the roof top bar either, which is maybe more understandable, but there is no discount for any of the non buffet restaurants with the All Inclusive package which is a shame, and they were empty!

Elevator is a pit slow and taking time to reach, and the refrigerator is not functioning properly

Location and beaches

Check in was very busy so took a little longer than expected.

Facilities were amazing and so is the location. I liked how clean it was too and the staff were really helpful.

I didn't like the check in process. Check in is at 3pm but I didn't get my room till around 4.15 I saw others waiting a long time too. I think it's best to change the check in time to 4 so their isn't a back log? Or streamline the check out process so rooms are readily available. Customers want to check in as soon as possible especially after a long journey. Also i was given late check out but it wasn't even noted on the system. Someone had to add that on after I told the staff how long it took for them to check us in. Unsure if I would come back would rather try another hotel. The check in really disappointed alot to the point it put me off the hotel. Also I gave my feedback to the staff but unsure Mr Sunshine took ot well or not. I mentioned it's better to be honest rather than give a false time. Also the lighting in the room was really bad. They really need to add some lights into the room instead of just adding lamps everywhere!! Terrible decision.
