Beautiful grand hotel. Wonderful location - 5 min. walk to the Hiroshima Central Bus Station. 8 min walk to the A-bomb site. Short walk to castle. Definitely enjoyed our stay. We did not get the breakfast option or pay for gym or pool. Very nice large rooms and bathroom. Nice pajamas, very comfortable beds, extra pillows. Would stay again.

Really impressed with the hotel. Perfect location and excellent value. We were given a wonderful corner room on the 23rd floor with stunning views of Hiroshima Palace and the Art Galiery. At night, it was equally splendid. The room was large, bed was comfortable and a good size bathroom. We love the Japanese tradition of in room slippers and nightshirts. The hotel clearly had its heyday in the 1980s and has a slightly dated luxurious feel. For example, there was less evidence of digital than some hotels but the hotel was spacious and the breakfast room was light filled and well run. Breakfast was excellent. Huge range of food available. It was a great experience. Would definitely recommend and would return. Thank you to all of the very helpful staff, especially the bar staff on the 33rd floor, who made me an excellent Old Fashioned. The views were stupendous.

20 years ago, I stayed in this hotel, and at that time, it was wonderful in every detail. However, now it's outdated, the staff is average (they need more training to be kind, especially in the breakfast room). The location is still excellent.

Fantastic place to stay!! Very convenient. Easy access to public transport and just 5mins walk to the memorial park.

I had a very comfortable and satisfying stay at this hotel. It is located right next to the Hiroshima Bus Terminal, which made it very convenient to go to the airport. The subway station is directly connected, and the tram station is also within a 5-minute walk.
The hotel facilities and room condition were incredibly clean and well-maintained, despite the hotel being 30 years old. It seems that the G7 Hiroshima Summit held last year may have had an influence, but I could feel the tremendous effort put into providing this level of room condition without major remodeling.
The dinner at LUORE on the 1st floor was also very satisfying. The three grilled meats served by the chef and Hiroshima's famous fried oysters were unforgettable. My son enjoyed the grilled pineapple and dessert even more.
The only thing that was a bit disappointing was that there was no space for guests to do business work. There were only chairs in the hotel lobby, so I could see fathers working on their laptops on their knees almost every night.

We had a corner room and it had a excellent view. The room was very spacious and the bathroom was a normal US size. The ammenities consisted of shampoo's. conditioners, toothbrush, lotion, water, frig. I was very pleased with the accommodations. The view was spectacular. (Stadium, Hiroshima Castle, Museum....) I would recommend this hotel of you are staying in Hiroshima.

This was an amazing hotel experience! The view from our window over the city was incredible. The staff was super helpful, the amenities were plentiful, the room was spacious, and the location was perfect…just a few minutes walk from the bus stop and mall with many dining options, and about a 10- minute walk to the Atomic Bomb museum/memorials. We would stay here again!

Spacious rooms and great service and reasonable price. Superb location. The pool has a charge for use. Breakfast has a good spread.

The location of the hotel is unbelievably good, you are close to the most important location to visit. The hotel rooms are more spacious and comfortable, the bathroom however had a little bit of black mould on the grout. The best part was undeniably the hotel staff! Miss Forde was an absolute star and truly went beyond to give extremely good service and advice on how to experience Hitoshi. My company and me would love to visit again.

Really enjoyed our stay here :) staff let us check in a bit early after a long day of travel, view was great from our room (we were given a corner room on the 15th floor which was amazing!) The hotel has a very early 2000s vibe in terms of decor and furnishings (think Home Alone) so was very nostalgic to be there :)

We had an incredible stay at Rihga Royal Hotel Hiroshima. The hotel and staff exceeded expectations with their exceptional service. However, I recommend opting for the 1st-floor breakfast buffet, as the 6th-floor one is notably smaller. During my visit, the food was unfortunately cold due to open Bain Maries, and the toaster on the 6th floor didn't function properly. Despite this, the overall experience was memorable.
I also want to highlight the remarkable view from our 25th-floor room, overlooking the Atomic Dome and Peace Park. It was genuinely amazing and added a unique and reflective dimension to our stay at the Rihga Royal Hotel Hiroshima. Despite the minor issues with the breakfast buffet, the overall experience, especially the captivating view, left a lasting impression.

A day trip to Hiroshima turned into a week stay because my friend was hospitalized. Many thanks to the staff for making things easier as I wasn't familiar with hotel procedures and I didn't speak Japanese. The staff is hardworking and eager to help. The hotel breakfast buffet helped start the day on a good foot. By the way, the hotel is close to the Hiroshima Memorial Park and to the Sogo Department Store.

Had a great stay for one night in Hiroshima at this hotel. Staff were friendly, professional, and very courteous. Staff can speak and understand English, room was clean and spacious (for Japan standards), view of the city was beautiful from the superior double room that we booked. Location is convenient and within walking distance from shopping and nearby attractions. Several restaurants in the hotel, which we unfortunately didn't get to try. Would definitely stay here again!

A nice enough hotel, but feels a bit 'old school'. We had a bit of a kerfuffle on check-in where there was not enough space for us even spread across two rooms. Admittedly there was a difference of opinion as to whether we had booked 5 people of just two rooms, but with 5 names on the reservation it was frustrating to have an issue. The hotel very kindly moved one of our rooms to one that fitted three beds (free of charge, thank you!) but it was a hassle.
Disappointed that the pool is so expensive. £18 or so just to swim is ridiculous.
I would have hoped that sort of thing could have been thrown in with exedia VIP or just as a general goodwill thing.
Our stay was lovely, but just felt a little mechanical and not valued.
Hotel is in a good location - a few minutes taxi from the station and brilliant for walking around. Very safe environment - of course, it's Japan! - and perfectly positioned for the dome and peace museum.

Absolutely one of the best hotel experiences we have ever had. The staff was incredibly attentive and helpful, beginning with check-in, right up to the moment we left. I cannot express enough how wonderful they helped make our first trip to Hiroshima. I truly look forward to coming back on our next stay.

Great location and the room had the best view I have ever seen (as does the restaurant on the roof). Was only hotel to offer roasted green tea in room. Big complaint is that it cost $22 to use the pool (which looked very nice). I would have paid it if it was a one time charge but it was for EACH time you want to swim. I planned to swim 3 times but $66 was insane. Also, this charge was not noticeable when booking the room.

Location is excellent, parking was easy and service at the parking area excellent. Room and view was amazing. Room service though was a challenge and customer service were not flexible when we wanted to order food.

Small rooms for price, dated decor and hotel. Buffet breakfast average. I wouldn’t rate this good value for money. Excellent view, and handy location.

Great location and great service. You can walk to the Atomic bomb dome, museum, and a 3 min walk to the shopping area from the hotel. It is so convinced. Very clean and large room this hotel connected to a shopping mall. Highly recommendation.

Very nice hotel in a perfect location next to the main attractions in Hiroshima and a ferry terminal to Miyajima. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The range of restaurants was good but it was very disappointing to see such a large fee being charged for pool and gym use. I appreciate that this is listed in the property details section but the amounts being charged were extraordinary.
