The staff was amazing- excellent customer service. From front desk, to spa, to house keeping, to waiters, to porters- wonderful interactions. Breakfast was great- loved the omelettes. It was clear that pastries were a day or two old at times and butter tasted like fridge once. That is ok. The view from the breakfast room looked wonderful but it’s really just of the soccer stadium (see photo attached). Unfortunately the room description was very misleading. Our view was a sliver of the Bosphorus. It would be a joke to call it a partial view. We were above the roof bar which was nice but meant we did not get good sleep. The DJ was good though lol. Bed was lumpy, cigarette smoking smell was present in room (and despite complaining, hotel declined to switch rooms and instead said they would ask neighbor to stop smoking), and room *felt* outdated. It was not like the ritz Carlton experience I have had elsewhere. Location was mediocre- about 15 min walk to taksim and 20 to besiktas but on a hill with roads that had limited sidewalks. The spa was perfection! No hot tub, but I did get a hamam treatment and loved it. Pool was beautiful to look at but cold. I wouldn’t stay here again instead opting for another Marriott property.

Long time until receiving my room. They charged me extra 175 TL for room service ( delivery charge ).

It’s a lovely hotel , but you have to travel to see anything , as it’s not near any attractions, bars or restaurants. The pool was closed and I didn’t receive my promised wine as a silver member.

This is a true five star hotel, from the security checks to enter to the excellent and welcoming service. Wonderful mattresses and pillows ( even a pillow selection of your choice) we had a wonderful luxurious relaxing stay. The views are amazing, the bar and restaurant areas too. The sauna and steam bath separated for women and men really lovely. Downsie was that the indoor pool as well as the outdoor pool were closed for renovation. We were travelling beginning of April with temperatures around 23 and would have loved to relax outside along the pool and taje in some sun after all the walking of sightseeing. It seems the pool season outside doesn't start before June, maybe something to reconsider. Especially if the indoor pool gets long maintenance . This was not mentioned on the website when we booked.

Its a complete rip off both by the hotel and hotel.com. Being one of the top brand in hotel industry ritz carlton istanbul don't have any operational swimming pool. No where on the website at the time of booking its been mentioned. No vegetarian option for breakfast very limited choice. After repeated complaint the hotel offered to go to another hotel which is 5 km from the hotel to go for a swim. It was totally unacceptable so they offered some spa but later they came up with excuses its all fully booked. Never again being a titanium elite with marriott it was a big big mistake to book via hotel.com who are not even ready to cancel the remaining ays out of 5 days trip and move to another hotel. Totally disappointed with a brand like RITZ carlton.

The staff very respectful and nice. The hotel room was very clean, and comfortable to stay. The overall of the stay was very pleasant.
