This was a superbly furnished house in a convenient neighborhood. Its position above a canal and in walking distance of beaches and shops gave us both lovely views and access to many options for fun. Parrot Hill was the most elegant rental house we've ever stayed in, but not preciously so - it is both handsome and very comfortable. Its many bedrooms and sitting areas meant we were never on top of each other. The first floor's indoor and outdoor spaces relate to each other exceptionally well, balancing scale with flow for a large group. The kitchen was equipped with everything we or a private chef would need, from equipment to china, for a large group meal.

The house was perfect for a big extended family group. Kitchen was amazingly well stocked. Location is perfect not far from beach and the shopping and restaurants on Los Olas in a beautiful neighborhood. Although the house was great for a big group like ours (8 adults and 8 "kids" in their early 20's) the decor is a bit tired and the house is a bit worn. But it's large and clean and the backyard pool area is really nice.

Stayed at this canal-front property for 4 nights with a group of 9 friends. I wish there was a 4.5 rating. Pros: We loved the beautiful pool area! Kitchen is very well stocked (with the exception of salt and pepper.) Art hanging through the house is eclectic and fun! Many places to gather. House is conveniently located for restaurants/shopping and beach. We were able to walk every morning.
Cons: The air conditioning condenser emitted a loud shrieking noise every time it cycled (about 2x per hour). Several in our group were disturbed by it through the night. We were told there “is no cure.” Lesson learned: Don’t put any light sleepers at the end of the hall upstairs! The “bedroom” with two twin beds is actually adjoined with another bedroom with a queen bed as all one suite. This isn’t super clear in the listing. As a group of all adults, we had to switch people around when we arrived so everyone had privacy. Other minor issue was several lightbulbs out in different parts of the house; there were no replacements available or offered.
I would stay in this property again— especially if I could sleep in the downstairs primary bedroom.

This is a beautifully decorated home that had everything you would need for a relaxing vacation. Impeccably clean, "Old Florida" styled home, quiet street and very comfortable for our party of nine women. Very close to beach and fantastic restaurants. We loved the pool and spent most of our time there.

Property is great with a ton of bedrooms and bathrooms. Checkin and checkout was a breeze and the backyard with the pool and dock is amazing! It was great that there were so many towels provided and that all the bathrooms were stocked with soap, shampoo, etc..

We had an excellent time and the place/location can’t be beat for what we paid. We would definitely visit again. Communication with the property manager was excellent when we checked into the property.

This property was beautiful and well appointed. There was plenty of space and privacy for me and my 16 guests. The pool was a wonderful feature as well. The host was very kind, accommodating and responsive. Would definitely recommend!

We visited Parrot Hall with a group of 10 of us for a girls trips/bachelorette and it was one of the best houses I have ever stayed out! The house is so spacious, decorated so fun and the backyard is unmatched! The house is also centrally located to everything. Our host, Bill was also so helpful and easy to reach. Bill was very accommodating and responsive when we had flight delays and we are so thankful for him! We hope to definitely return again.

We had a wonderful time!! The number of bedrooms and sitting rooms made it perfect for a family reunion. Spent a lot of time in the pool! Bill was very responsive and accommodating.

We had a lovely weekend away at parrot hall! The house was more than enough room for our large group. All bedrooms were spacious. Plenty of towels and pool towels. Loved being on the canal. Can’t say enough good things. Quick 4 minute Uber to la solas. Kitchen was fully stocked with every appliance you would need.

Parrot Hall was perfect for our family vacation. We were looking for a spacious home with a pool and boat dock. We found exactly that and more. Parrot Hall is a well appointed beautiful home and the location was perfect for us. It's close to everything we wanted; beaches, great boating, and restaurants. William was always so responsive with any questions we had. We would highly recommend this property & wouldn't hesitate to rent Partot Hall again.

We had a family reunion at Parrot Hall. It was a beautiful setting with the pool and waterway, and it's close to a beach with a big parking lot. Everything was great.

Overall, the property was great for our family. Tons of space for large family and the property manager was wonderful with communication and follow through. Only drawback is the house is a bit dated and there were several dead bugs inside the house (which is better than live bugs).

We enjoyed our stay at this well equipped home. Kids thoroughly enjoyed afternoons in the pool and the neighborhood is a nice quiet escape from the crowds of spring break. We left some clothes behind which the host sent us promptly.

Parrot Hall was the perfect site for our large family. With rooms for everyone, a beautiful kitchen and a heated pool, leaving the house was rarely necessary. when we did choose to explore, we were mere minutes from restaurants and the beach. Wonderful!

The property is a well designed house in the Las Olas neighborhood. Everything is well-kept, clean, and comfortable. Internet worked great in the bottom floor, but was occasionally spotty in the top floor. Overall I would definitely recommend it for larger groups looking to relax in FLL.

Parrots Hall is a wonderful home located on a quiet canal in Ft Lauderdale. The house is enormous but warm and welcoming in its decor. My team thoroughly enjoyed their time there. Absolutely recommend.

I booked this trip for my family and friends visiting from New York and the property was AMAZING. There were 18 of us and we had plenty of space, so many showers, and the yard was incredible! Great location and close to all the action!

We rented Parrot Hall for my 40th birthday in early August 2022. The property was absolutely gorgeous, meticulously cared for and tastefully decorated to maintain its old Florida character. Our group of eleven people ranging in age from one years old to their mid seventies all felt very much at home with all the spacious areas the house had to offer. The large kitchen was very well appointed for entertaining. The private chef we hired had no problem preparing a four course meal for us in the space. The grounds around the property are something out of a magazine, and make for spectacular backgrounds if you decide to take professional photographs during your stay. We can’t thank Bill enough for being such a great host. He was in constant contact with me from the initial booking all the way through check out. This was a very special and memorable family vacation for us. I don’t think we could have picked a better home to have created them in. We hope to see you again Parrot Hall!

Loved this house! It had great south Florida charm and plenty of space for everyone to relax. There was a minor issue at check in, but William was very responsive and solved the issue right away. My whole family loved the house and there was plenty of space for all 15 of us. We were looking for a relaxing getaway to celebrate my mom’s 60th birthday and everyone had a great time. The house is perfectly located between Las Olas and the beach, so you can walk everywhere.

A large family of 10 adults and 8 children ranging in age from 13 to 18 months. Parrot Hall was a perfect vacation spot for our family. The pool and veranda were extensively used and enjoyed by everyone. The house was comfortably furnished and the many rooms gave us the space to spread out. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of pots, pans, dishes and a wonderful place to prepare meals. The house is located close to everything, a short drive to the beach, stores, and Fort Lauderdale airport. We highly recommend this property.

Parrot Hall (and William) came through for my family this year- we were suddenly cancelled by a different VRBO homeowner and to our luck Parrot Hall was available that week. William was kind enough to allow my wife and I to have a family micro wedding on the property and it turned out beautiful. Parrot Hall is beautifully decorated Floridian style home that brought out the best of all of us. It's location was perfect and the pictures we took turned out fabulous. Thanks again William!

This is a perfect house if you’re looking for old Florida Charm on a quiet street with plenty of room for large groups. The pool and patio area is very comfortable for those looking for sunshine or shade. All within walking distance to downtown Las Olas or the hustle and bustle of the beach.
This property served our needs perfectly for a family ranging from 4-87, the updated kitchen, 2 refrigerator’s, ice maker, and professional workspace was just what we needed to put the frosting on the birthday cake. Thank you for the fantastic week!

We had age group of 23 to 90. The property offered a setting that you could step back in time very comfortably with many sitting areas and so many coffee table picture books we shared. Our elderly mothers managed well with walkersall their children assistance.

As pretty in real life as it is in pictures! Ideally (literally minutes by car) located near the beach, downtown, shopping, eateries and all services. The house is so spacious as it accommodated a larger party like ours yet it is cozy so no one wanted to leave. We had no problem getting ready to go out as there were plenty of well appointed bathrooms. The layout allowed for privacy for guests-freedom to prep meals and lounge by the pool, sit in one of the many rooms and watch tv, read, whatever you want to do. Bill was so responsive to any inquiry and made booking easy. We had a great vacation and were the envy of our friends!

Parrot Hall is a wonderful estate equipped with everything you need to make your vacation unforgettable. Beautiful , relaxing , fun . We loved the big bedrooms! The kitchen was easy to cook in and had everything we needed. The pool , the backyard , the entire grounds were well groomed and kept so nice. The nearby restaurants, the beach , everything was so easy to get to . We mostly bicycled and walked everywhere. Our host , William answered all of our questions ahead of time and was close by to help us with anything we needed . He was great to work with. We stayed at Parrot Hall with 15 extended family members (grandparents to teenagers) and it was the perfect house for our vacation. The rooms are beautifully decorated and comfortable. The kitchen has everything we needed to prepare or serve meals. They had plenty of dishes, glasses and silverware. The best part of the house was the pool and patio area. We had perfect weather and spent all of our time at the pool. We highly recommend Parrot Hall!

Bill was easy to communicate with and accommodating with our request for an earlier check-in time. Home had a great outdoor & indoor space for a large group to spread out but also gather. A heads up…2nd floor bedroom doors allow noise to travel from neighboring rooms so be aware of you are a light sleeper. Also there might be some construction with neighboring homes so if that’s going to be a problem, inquire ahead of time. As for everything else, a beautifully decorated home, a little older or ‘dated’ but that’s part of the charm. We would totally return. Las Olas area is so quaint…biked & walked to coffee shops, restaurants, shops and beach.
