Comoda la posizione per prendere poi il night bus per ho chi minh. La struttura è essenziale e per un paio di notti va benissimo. Il bagno era uno solo (in camera) ma molto spazioso e pulito. La proprietaria è gentile ma un po' casinista.

Le foto non rispecchiano molto la realtà, le camere sono più vecchie di come si vede in foto. I letti a castello facevano molto rumore quando si saliva sui letti superiori.

L’hôtel est idéalement situé en centre ville. La chambre était très propre et les matelas confortables. Le personnel était adorable et l’hôte nous donnait beaucoup de conseils pour notre séjour et de bonnes adresses !

První noc byl hodně slyšet hluk (hudba) z ulice. V koupelně (v umyvadle) trochu smrděl odpad.

3 nuits en dortoir La villa Papillon est située dans une rue peu passante donc très calme à 15-20 mn à pied du Palais Royal et à 5mn a pied de gargotes cambodgiennes populaires typiques. L’établissement sécurisé bien fréquenté est particulièrement tranquille et bien tenu dans une ambiance familiale. Une petite cuisine pratique est à disposition. Des excursions sont proposées à la journée ou demi journée pour les sites incontournables de la capitale et alentours.

I arrived after a long motorbike trip, and I was happy to be in a place to relax after many kilometers (or I thought so). Strange thing, literally as soon as I arrived and parked the motorbike I have been asked by the owner to run behind a cat to catch it (while she was doing nothing, why can't she do it?) Well while doing so I've been slightly bit by the dog of the house (justified by the owner because "he is jealous about the cat??" Well if you know that this is his character, don't ask me to do so. But after meeting another group of french guys I understood that one of those had received the same treatment by the dog). So after the event she didn't even apologize or try to understand whether I was fine and actually she asked to pay for my room. (Single Room for one person at 29 dollars breakfast included, a couple of eggs with 3 pieces of bread and 2 slices of watermelon). The overall vibe of the owner was always feeling as if she was doing me a favour for having me here, and never felt like a welcome guest in the house. I only spent one night there, and I even evaluate the option of paying and leaving the house without having my night there, because I totally did not expect this from a small Villa. I have visited Cambodia several times, and I believe that this has been the worst experience until now, and for that price (talking about a private room, not a bed in a dormitory) you can absolutely find plenty of better options than this, more welcoming, more fulfilling, more real. Sorry, but I truly do not recommend it.

Maison très agréable et Katy très accueillante, disponible, généreuse....elle nous a régalés avec ses histoires ce qui nous a permis de mieux connaître son pays. Nous recommandons chaudement car nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison

It's in a good location, close to lots of restaurants and not too far to walk to Royal Palace etc. The owner is quite a character but very friendly. Aircon stopped working during first night but I told reception in the morning and they had it working again when I got back. Fresh cooked omelette for breakfast was very nice.

There were a lot of mosquitos in the room when I arrived, had to spend a while trying to catch them all. There were also a few the second night so they obviously get in from somewhere. Bathroom facilities are very basic and you can't flush toilet paper. All that is fine when you're paying basic room prices, but I was charged $30 a night for my stay here which is ridiculous. I imagine the hostel rooms are much better value for money, but you can find far nicer private rooms for this price in Phnom Penh.

Für 14 Personen 1 Waschbecken, WC und Dusche, dies abgetrennt mit einer Türe ins Dormetry. Draußen nochmals 2 Open air duschen mit Vorhang, davon eine kaputt. Von den beiden Toiletten draußen war eine nicht verschließbar. Alles sehr Basic. Die Besitzerin ist aber bemüht. Das Wasser zum trinken for free hat extrem nach Chlor geschmeckt, eigentl. kein Trinkwasser.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft, eine super herzliche Gastgeberin und sehr nette Angestellte, dazu in zentraler Lage, um die Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreichen zu können.

When i got arrived there everything seemed quite normal.

I didn't get the room I booked at the first night, I got a cheaper room and the shower didn’t work well. I was woken up in the morning 9:00 am and told to move to another room, I moved to another dirty room while people from the night before were still there. It was bizarre! I wanted to extend one more night and they forced me to move again to another room. I wanted to extend because it was one of the cheapest options in the city. The owner told me it’s OK but then in the morning she woke me up again and told me she doesn’t want me there anymore and if I wanna stay, I should pay way more. than she tried to kick me off from the hospital while I’m still in pajamas. I think she thought I stole the remote off the air conditioner for some reason, all of a sudden she started to shout at me that she’s going to call the police and then she start to threaten me that she’s gonna bring her family and they will harm me. During my stay there the atmosphere was tense and unpleasant, The owner would enter our room without permission when we are in the room and turn off the lights. C R A Z Y ! ! ! It was definitely one of the worst and weirdest experience I have or had in hostels in my life. I recommend you to stay away from this place!

Friendly and helpful staff, clean, comfortable bed, very good location. In the center between the royal palace and S-21 prison, but in a side street so it's quiet.

The air conditioning wasn't turned on until 6pm, so it took a while for the room to cool down.

Friendly and welcoming owner and staff. Very nice large clean room and nice bathroom too. Comfortable bed. Decent location not too far from centre.

Just a few things to improve - AC power was shut off at 7am which is a bit ridiculous especially when you're paying more than $25 a night and it's extremely hot outside. Breakfast needs improving. Lots of mosquitos in the room when we arrived.
