The Chatsworth Hotel

Great location, excellent staff. My room had a wonderful sea view. There was a relatively new carpet and a really comfortable bed, but there were a few cracks in the bathroom sink that needed repair and the paintwork was a bit tired. It didn’t take away from a relaxing stay and would definitely consider it again.

We stayed here recently and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, our room was spacious, featured a large bathroom, and offered absolutely lovely sea views. The location of the hotel is highly convenient for exploring, the staff were consistently nice and helpful, and the breakfast was enjoyable each morning. However, the property is held back by maintenance and cleanliness issues. The building itself is showing its age and desperately needs some TLC. Inside our room, we noticed several stains, and the shower head in the bathroom was full of limescale. Furthermore, the main lobby stairs were very dirty throughout our stay. It is a nice place with great potential, but the management really needs to step up their housekeeping and property upkeep. It needs a professional carpet cleaner to come in and do a once over.

Whilst I would not call it a five star hotel. It is an excellent location and place to stay. Staff are very friendly and attentive. The place is clean. The food is great. The sea view from the room was excellent. The cigar lounge is an excellent spot. Breakfast is served hot with a few choices and made to your liking. We highly recommend this hotel

We had a fabulous albeit brief stay at the Chatsworth Hotel. Our room was vey clean & pspacious with a balcony that faced the sea . It was lovely to hear the sea whilst drifting off to sleep in the super comfy bed. We will defintely return and dine in as the menu looked lovely . We enjoyed a drink in the bar whilst listening to some live music . All the employees were super friendly .
