Das Lattenrost des Bettes bestand aus wenigen quer gelegten Brettern in großem Abstand, dazwischen waren entsprechende Freiräume. Rückenschmerzen!!

Didn’t realise until we got here that there’s no food on this side of the river in Sierpe so we had to go back over . If we’d known in advance we could have planned better

It had every reason to be a good stay as the setting is excellent

It was filthy, tiles were falling of the shower cubicle. The shower dripped all night. A block of used soap was offered as an amenity! The bathroom floor was covered in previous visitors hair and scum. There were hundreds of ants which bit my feet when I put on my sandals, I had to wear trainers to go to the loo!. I think the damp, frayed towelI was used for the dog, surely not a guest? I would have left but was trapped as you can only access the cabins by ferry, and Wade had gone to bed. The worst place in my month long trip by far. No offer of a refund or some compensation, over priced and not recommended. Every guest getting the ferry back across the river was complaining! A shame as the place could be great.

Very quiet place on the other side of the river bank. Wade (host) picks you up by boat (at any time) and looks after his guests very attentively and has lots of exciting stories to tell. We were only here for one night and would have loved to stay longer in this magical, deserted place in the middle of the mangroves. If you're lucky, you might see crocodiles nesting next door.

It's very simple and rustic there, you shouldn't expect luxury, but that's what makes it so special. You should definitely stock up at the supermarket beforehand, you are travelling to a "desert island", so to speak ;-)

This was a unique experience! Wade, the owner, made our stay very entertaining. He was accomodating and friendly. Seipre is a bit off the travellers path, but it was a worthwhile stop to have a different experience.

after our first night in san José we wanted to find some peace and quiet and wow, this was perfect! wade (the owner) is very friendly and will help you with anything you ask. it was the perfect start to our vacation in Costa rica and I would recommend everyone to stay here!
