Clean basement suite but with no access to garden and limited outside light. Great place to stay if the location suites you (as it did for us). I don't like highly scented soap or laundry detergents, so the smell of sheets and bathroom products was unpleasant for me. The bed was reasonably comfortable but a bit creaky. Kitchen and living area is comfortable (though metal chairs on marble floors are loud when moved). I still rate it highly despite my own minor reservations because, my dislikes could be someone elses loves.

This suite was exactly as it appears online, the whole process was smooth. Would highly recommend.

This basement apartment is exactly as advertised. Quiet, fully equipped, clean and as spacious as.you need for a short stay. Highly recommended.

This well appointed and comfortable suite couldn’t be in a more convenient location when it comes to exploring vibrant Main St. There’s so much to see, do and eat a mere 5 min walk away. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. Lots of street parking available and a very quiet location despite being so close to bustling Main St. Wouldn’t hesitate to book here again - we loved it!

Lovely basement suite! In a really great central location, easy to walk or bus to wherever you want to go. The street is very quiet. My sister and I had a great time. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location with restaurants and shops in walking distance and ample street parking. A good fit for our short family trip. Hosts were friendly and communicative. There was a minor issue with fruit flies and a slow draining tub, we let the hosts know. Would recommend!

Upon arrival, the check in process was easy. The interior of the unit comes as advertised. Everything was very clean and spotless. Both bedrooms were comfortable and standard size by Vancouver living. The unit appears to be newly built or remodeled and the owner spared no expenses. It is in mint conditions. We strolled the areas and the takeaways were plenty of joggers, bicyclists and family with small children filled up this neighborhood. Things to considered. To be sure, a mention of the unit is the basement of an existing home would be nice/helpful. The description was “self-contained, lower suite”. It did not fully describe that the unit was essentially the basement within a larger residence with its own unique access. A long walk along the house to the backend is your own access below the staircases. So, you get limited sunlight and view. Yes, the photo from the living/kitchen is your only view to the outside world. Plus, because you are living under some one, you can hear the habitants upstairs go about their days. The kitchen and family room are directly above this unit. It was especially noticeable in the early morning hours when they were making coffee/breakfast. It was a low thumping noise, but enough to wake you. Luckily, the habitants did not spend much time there during our stay. To be fair, there are many homes in this area with basement subleases. Now the more you know, the better you can make your own decisions about this place.

Nice property but were very disappointed we didn't have an outdoor area to relax and enjoy on site.
