1 Hotel Melbourne

Every single staff member was welcoming, friendly, helpful with advice-nothing was ever a problem. The plants everywhere and decor of wood gave the hotel a grounded and homey feel, making you feel even more relaxed. All facilities were well equipped and taken care of, the available fruit in foyer was fresh and appreciated. The location was close enough to the city but more of a cool great vibe looking over the river. The wellness centre was also extremely relaxing and great to have in the hotel.

What I appreciated most was the sense of discernment throughout the property. Everything felt thoughtfully considered without becoming overly curated or impersonal. The interiors were elegant, the room was beautifully appointed, and there was a genuine ease to the service. We stayed here around our wedding, so the hotel became part of a particularly meaningful few days for us. The team were gracious and accommodating, giving us exactly the kind of space and privacy we needed while still making us feel well looked after. It is a rare thing for a hotel to feel both polished and deeply comfortable, and this one managed that balance beautifully.

There is very little we would change about the property. Our only real regret was having to leave after two nights. Had we not been mindful of our budget, and had the AFL weekend not made accommodation considerably more expensive, we would have happily extended our stay by another night. It genuinely felt like the sort of place you could settle into and enjoy at a slower pace.

I loved the location, bed and pillows, greenery, staff attitude, tap on the bench, products in the bathroom and the hot rainfall shower. Brilliant.

There was a little corner shaped rip in the middle of our bedsheet when we first pulled back the bed clothes but I ignored it because I am not fussy. :))

Apple Maps couldn’t find it and spent 40 mins trying to get off highway onto right road. $80 for parking ridiculous. Too much clutter in room; bits of wood telling me things but no free bottled water, decent tea bags or cutlery. Room service really slow. Poor location for business trip.
