The apartment is so nice. So comfortable to stay in. Location couldn't be better. Host, so friendly and very much supportive.

can be a bit loud at night with motorcycles / large trucks. we used a fam and sound machine and it was fine.

The owner met us personally and showed us everything.

There were crumbs under the couch and the dishes in the dishwasher have not been taken out.

The location of Royal Dalhousie is stellar as are the views, both from the apartment-Le Chinic- and the shared rooftop terrace. It is perfectly spacious and well-appointed in the heart of the old Quebec City. Views of the Chateau Frontenac and St. Lawrence River are spectacular. It's a lovely old building, renovated and kept by its equally lovely owners and family, Greg, Pierre and Lili.

Having to leave was the only thing we didn't like!

Characterful home-away-from-home feel with excellent location.

Building has water leaks around the window alcoves, but this did not detract from the experience.

There were no meals included.

When we arrived, we entered the unit and were confronted with a very strong, pungent and unpleasant odour that was coming from the kitchen area. We quickly came to the conclusion that the previous guests had cooked some very strong smelling food which had overtaken the apartment. We cleaned the pots and pans and cleaned the oven, exhaust fan, sink and counters. We had to go out and buy air freshener and boil citrus fruit to reduce to odour. We reduced it by half. The landlord stopped by and confirmed our fears and showed us pictures of the state that the previous renters had let the apartment in. He dubbed them the "worst renters of 2021" and said that he felt badly for us. I felt badly for us too. Unfortunately there seemed to be children in the unit above us who were very early risers and partiers in another unit who stayed up past midnight. So after 2 nights (we had rented 3), we decided to head home. The landlord turned unsympathetic when we complained to him. I felt that we should have been compensated at least a little for our inconvenience considering that the apartment rental was not cheap. Live and learn, if I ever encounter that situation again I will immediately demand that the landlord come in and clean it up himself. It didn't pay to be nice this time. If the unit was clean and quiet we would have enjoyed it immensely. It is a beautiful unit in an excellent location.

Beautiful space and overlooking the river. Very spacious and clean. The person that greeted us at arrival was very nice.

Fantastic location. Amazing property with a large rooftop patio that could seat a dozen people or more. We really enjoyed ourselves.

The coffee maker - besides that the place is amazing...best to go out for coffee/espresso.

Incredible spacious elegant suite It felt like the height of luxury staying here! The condo was well equipped with all the kitchen implements you would need. I made Eggs Benedict one morning which requires a lot of kitchen implements and I had everything I need. We were met at the property on arrival. There was onsite parking which I hadn’t expected. There was a convenient elevator, as well as stairs. There is an outdoor rooftop terrace with incredible views. They even had umbrellas to use which came in handy! The location was perfect too!
