The Rivertide is so well located walking distance to the main entertainment areas of Seaside and the beach, which we loved. The staff at Rivertide is also super friendly and quick to offer help when needed. I really appreciated how dog friendly the Rivertide is, with complimentary dog towels + treats at the front entrance and folks always saying hello and being excited to see a dog around. The cute lil bar inside hosts a good happy hour with $4 beers. Quiet time (starting at 9pm) was really well observed and we appreciated it- it was very quiet overnight.

The amenities are nice but not quite 'all the way there' considering the (slightly) higher cost of the Rivertide. The breakfast is really simple with nothing hot, cooked or fresh, the jet tub in our room was pretty temperamental (hard to turn on + off and after we used it the tub jets would randomly turn on), and the conditioner dispenser was broken/had nothing inside of it. Pretty minor stuff and overall our stay was nice, but would have felt more of a value if the amenities mirrored the higher nightly rate of this property.

We only picked up some fruit and juice to take with us as we had breakfast in our room earlier .

It was just a little noisy from the street down below all evening until after midnight.

The location and view out the patio was great. The staff went out of their way to may us feel special and for my daughter’s birthday.

The location is convenient.

The room was smelly. Not sure what the prior guest cooked but it wasn't that pleasant of a smell. There were a ton of flies in our room. We killed over 10 flies in our room our first night. The kitchen drawer had a dead flie in it which was gross. So we walk every dish before using it. The room was not vaccummed well as we found pringles chips next to the bed. The couch had a stain that looked like blood but we weren't quite sure, it definitely seemed like a biozard dtsin, for sure. The dishes were dirty and had not even been ran in the dishwasher. There was a moldy spactula that should of been thrown away with black mold, which was not OK. The patio had beer bottles on it and flies continously which is one reason we did not sit on it. We noticed lots of flies in the hallways of our floor and the lobby which is not appealing. The flies also seem to fly under the covered carport area stagnant. We were offered a fly swatter but what good is that, we shouldn't of had this issue in the first place. We have stayed here before and it was never like this. Not the pleasant place we once stayed at.

Friendly services and nice facilities, easy location.

Indoor pool area super chlorinated. I left because my eyes burned, grandkids enjoyed pool, but I had to leave and I knew I would not get in the pool. This is not unusual for indoor pool areas in hotels. Parking areas were pretty tight when we arrived.
