River Inn at Seaside

Room was nice and clean. Bed was big and comfy. Extra pillows and blankets available to make it even more comfortable. Shower/bathroom was average, got the job done. Cookies at 6pm. (Did not check out pool or hot tub, looked nice from the outside)

Breakfast was disappointing; was expecting eggs, sausage, potatoes, waffles etc like you'd get at most places that offered breakfast. What was offered was: cereal, muffins, bread, sausage gravy and waffles. There were boiled eggs in the little fridge with some fruit cups. We picked this place because breakfast was offered. We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel and went out instead. Which defeated the purpose of booking this hotel.

Convenient location to walk the town. The beach is about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Clean rooms and the breakfast was fresh. Definitely would stay again.

I would have appreciated more protein options for the breakfast.

The location was great to be able to walk to the main strip. The breakfast in the morning was nice to have and the staff I encountered were friendly.

I feel like the rate for the room was pretty steep, but there was a very big car show downtown when we were there (that I wasn’t aware of) so I’m thinking that had a little bit to play in that. The room was plain and really just nothing special. Comfortable, but not amazing. There was a dog that constantly barked on our floor and it was annoying to say the least. During breakfast, another dog went a little berserk and staff there didn’t say anything. Honestly, unfortunately, probably will not stay here again just due to the dogs which I understand isn’t completely their fault.

Good breakfast. Friendly staff! Nice place. Love that all the shops and restaurants and beach were in a walking distance of the hotel.

We wanted the room to be bigger for the price. Beds could be softer with a thicker blanket.
