Ashore Hotel

I loved how welcoming the staff was and the pool was SO perfect. Normally when you hear “heated pool” half the time it’s still cold but they truly mean it when they say heated. Literally feels like you are in a bath tub in the best way possible.

The breakfast selection is a little disappointing but love that they have slips for you to choose items.

We stay at the Ashore once or twice a year with our 2 little dogs and use it for our "base-of-operations" (LOL) as we travel up and down the Oregon coast to relax during days. On our last recent three night stay, the first day we rested up and relaxed around Seaside, second day we headed down to Lincoln City for a little gaming at the Chinook Winds Casino and an amazing lunch at the Side Door Cafe in Gleneden Beach, and last day we enjoyed playing with the dogs on the bench, built a fire and watch a spectacular sunset.

They haven’t fixed their soaking pool which was something we have enjoyed in the past

Location is great. Room is good size. Bunkbeds were nice for the kids. The front desk did have a portable fan for us to use which was very helpful. Daily breakfast was nice. It was simple (crossants, yogurt and fruit) but worked well. We did have a tea pot in our room and 2 mugs and 2 glasses as well as microwave and mini fridge with small freezer.

air conditioner unit wasn't very efficient. It felt like it needed a freon recharge because it never blew cold air at all. We were able to get fan from the front desk which saved us as there was no air movement in the bedroom.
