Canvas Hotel Dallas

Location is very grungy. Just out of the main city. They have done an incredible job with the old building. Beautiful renovation. The room felt like we were in a NYC loft! Roof top pool had a great view and it was nice relaxing up there. The restaurant was amazing. By far 2 of the best meals we had on our entire trip in the US. Parking is super easy too.

If I was being ultra picky….. hmmm maybe the shower head! I think there must be regulations for drought in the US because this same shower head was everywhere and it’s hard to have a shower in!

Fantastic hotel with wonderful rooftop bar, terrace and pool. We had a great meal in the restaurant and particular thanks go to Mohit for looking after us.

The aesthetics. How they decorated for Halloween. The hotel itself is apart from the chain hotels. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Our room was nice, clean, with a good view.

Wasn’t too comfortable with the pillows but I’m picky.

I was told at check in that there was going to be a DJ at the pool, which was located on the roof, so I would hear music til around 1 am. I said that was fine I’m normally up late anyway. On Saturday night I got back late after a concert and I was going to bed around 2am when I started hearing what sounded like furniture being moved around on the roof. That lasted for a while. I was tired and wanted to sleep because I needed to be up early to travel back home on Sunday. That was very disruptive and it took a while before I could finally go to sleep.
