there were bed bugs (a lot of) in my bed. and they are full of blood when I killed them. They found another room, but was midnight. Awful. It’s unacceptable. and no answer from the manager. the worst hotel I’ve ever been.

I like their wine and cheese in the afternoon and the fact it’s close to the dock.

the location is super, after get down the boat we slowly walk 5 min and surprisingly the hotel is in front of us. I also like the beautiful open lounge area that is free for guests to hang around enjoy wine and cheese or bring my own food and look out the harbor the same time. the service and staffs are very nice too, even after we check out that day, we still going for some water activities, we need some towel and a place to clean up. they don’t mind us using the beach towel and changing room. If you need something just ask the staffs you might be surprise how helpful they are.

the only thing we wish there is a swimming pool. we still love to hang out at pool in the morning or sunset.

The fire pit area was cute and relaxing

I didn’t know about breakfast. The $20. Credit it is a nice gesture however the service at the establishments wasn’t very good and they seemed to be bothered by dealing with the credit.

The plumbing. I informed the desk about it when we checked out for the next guest.

Most everything except for one, the timing in order to use the $20 credit to apply to your bill with four restaurants, Atwater, Descanso Beach Club, Antonio’s Pizzeria, Avalon Grille.

You have to use the $20 restaurant credit the same day you checkin. By the time you check in at 4pm, Atwater Bistro is already close. Descanso Beach Club closes at 5pm. So you are technically left to use is only at Antonio’s Pizzeria and Avalon Grille.

Everything is great! especially love the garden!

The location is amazing - it is central to everything. The courtyard was nice to hang out in.

No room service, which was disappointing. Called the front desk many times without an answer. When we checked in, we were told someone would always be available and there was not. We were denied late checkout. They were not able to accommodate a room with a view when we booked this hotel months ago. There was a blood stain on our bed when we checked in. Creepy and gross.

Great hotel location. Loved the gardens and lounge chairs. Afternoon wine and cheese was a treat and great wine choices! Room was small for the price but would stay there again.
