Hyatt Regency Phoenix Downtown

Location and valet

Nothing especially stood out about this property. While there is a pool, it is not conducive to much swimming.

Perfect location for attending a concert at Chase Field. An easy walk and felt very safe. Property & rooms were clean and welcoming. I left my drivers license and they were amazing about reaching out and holding onto it until my son could pick it up.

The bed/mattress was super uncomfortable.

clean and spacious rooms

View was just okay

Staff was extremely friendly. Were also very helpful when issues were brought up.

The room my dad & his wife was in (under my wife Angela Castro's name) had an issue that caused my step mom to fall in the shower. The set screw for the knob for the shower was not tightened down (it was all the up and loose). So when she went to grab it, it came right off and she fell backwards in the shower and landed on her buttocks and lower back. Our room had dust built up at the upper areas of the wall near the HVAC vent/return. It was actually visible from a couple feet away. Almost looked like "dust bunnies" on the wall.
