Four Seasons Hotel Prague

The location is great. We realized on location that we didn't have breakfast included, and It turned into a blessing since We found an amazing breakfast spot down the road. We booked a Spa, again very decent, (but we constantly felt we were being "upsold" on facial products or treatments). There are other Spa's within walking distance that are a tenth of the price and just as good. So while the location is great, the hotel really does not justify its price. The reception staff were very nice and helpful - on our last day we needed some bubblewrap for a gift and they supplied a ton within a few minutes. The view from the 5th floor restaurant patio (used for private dinners) is one of the nicest in Prague.

The hotel is one of the most expensive, if not the most expensive in Prague. For that amount of money, we found out on arrival our breakfast wasn't even included. Everything is on a schedule and paid for. You can't have a drink by a pool, or on a balcony anywhere after 10pm. Only the street Bar stays open; and while the bar drinks were nice, it is loud and cramped. We just never felt like there was a nice spot to unwind after dinner. We resorted to sneaking onto the 5th floor patio when it was open in preparation for evening dinners. The hotel is lost in its corporate structures - every day our minibar cups were taken, but not replaced. And while the coffee pods are replaced, they never refilled the milk. We stayed for 8 days, and called housekeeping 8 times for milk or cups. There is a recurring fancy sparkly Pink SUV parked in the parking out front and at the same time many "inappropriately" dressed women lurking around the bar area at night that really leave you wondering what sort of clients actually use the hotel bar.

Excellent breakfast with very good staff. Very good location.

I think SPA area can be improved.
