Sentido Caribbean World Soma Bay

Location is beautiful - white sandy beach, calm and crystal clear water. However outside the hotel resorts, there is not much to see in the area. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Special mention to Seiko and the animation team who are unbelievably energetic. The pools are great, and the lush gardens give that great 'holiday vibe'. There are plenty of restaurants on site - both buffet and a la carte. Plenty of activities. Kite surfing in very good either from the hotel beach if experienced or from a nearby island for the beginners. Boat shuttles take 10mins. The kite school is not super well equipped but have a decent enough selection and the staff is super nice. Clientele is very varied which is a bonus if you are worried about spending a week with grumpy Swiss and complaining Germans :-) Rooms were very spacious and easy access to pools and gardens, although only a few are on the beach front.

Not an awful lot to say here. The buffet selection and quality wasn't the best. We did not try the a la carte which needs booking. Some of the facilities needed maintenance or sprucing up, but it's a minor quibble. Gym needs an upgrade. Sales people for the activities (diving, spa, horse riding, etc) can be a bit persistent, but in general friendly. A 'do not disturb' flag available from the towel stand solved this.

Salma facilitates our requests and help us to know every thing in this nice Caribbean world

The staff was very nice and polite , Ms. Salma ( Guest Relations) was so active and dedicates to give us all facilities we are need and so keen to follow up daily twice at least to secure cover any issue . It’s really amazing experience
