Staff were helpful. Common area is nice.

It wasn’t the cleanest, pubic hair on the toilet, dirty pillow cases, bathroom needed a good scrub. Its not clear on the description that there is no toilet door, it’s just curtains. Location isn’t great, it’s a bit far from the main part of the city. Breakfast was poor, as a watch out its not scrambled egg it’s cold egg mayo.

Hostel was really nice, felt like a hotel and everything was really clean. staff were friendly.

Perfect! Beds were comfortable and the staff were amazing. The cafe downstairs had very good food. Excellent hostel compared to others in Laos

This is a bit like Dr Who's Tardis – it's much bigger on the inside than it appears! In particular there is a very nice courtyard/eating area hidden from street view and the food is much better than average hostel food. The cleaning staff work hard and it's quite stylish. I extended my stay because the bed was so comfortable. Very good value for money.

Breakfast was a bit limited but you could order more if you pay for it (and Vientiane has some really terrific coffee/bakeries to explore!). They might need a few more showers since, although clean, the ones they have take a bit of a hammering from the sheer numbers of residents. It's a 10 min walk from the centre of town which might not suit everyone but was fine for me.
