Meliá White House Apartments

V comfortable. Loved the sofa!

Strange that in the little kitchen there were no cleaning cloths, drying cloths or washing up liquid. Kitchen was a little sparse.

I have staying in the Melia House Hotel and Appartment in the last 20 years. It is in a very nice place, near my work and the parks that I like to jog. It has a nice gym too.

This is the second time I have stayed in the apartments at Melia White House. Unfortunately, cleanliness is not one of its strongest points. I understand that it is reasonable for an apartment not to offer daily cleaning. However, the cleaning schedule was not communicated to me at all by the hotel/apartment. It was only the very kind cleaning lady who explained the situation to me. I was also negativaly surprised that basic items such as a sponge, dishwashing liquid, and even a broom were not provided. Honestly, these are inexpensive and essential items that I would normally expect to find in an apartment of this kind. Finally, the check-in time is quite late, at 4 p.m., which is another point that could be improved.

Comfortable and very large hotel, well-situated and well-run. The two apartments we've seen are a bit dated but in good condition. I can recommend and would visit again, specifically as it is so close to the Regent part and the beautiful Marylebone.

The HVAC units outside the hotel are loud. We were on the 7th floor, and we could not sleep with the windows open. But even with the windows closed, there is a deep hum which is perceivable in the room. Certainly not loud enough to disturb a normal sleep, but people with tinnitus would need to specifically ask for a hallway away from the units.

Location is great, bar is great, quietness of the hotel at night is great

The room provided was nothing at all like the photo's on Booking.com - in fact the difference between the photos and description and what was provided was borderline fraud - apparently no other rooms were available. They are doing renovations so so room was under constant drill attack from 08:00 to 17:00 even on Saturday morning. It was extremely poor of the hotel not to have pre warned us of this as it made the room uninhabitable during those hours. Breakfast was great BUT they have 4 coffee machines but only one was working and, with a full hotel, I will allow the reader to imagine the queue.
