It is more like a homrstat run by local Malay people. Facility are old but acceptable，and clean. Offer breakfast with low room charge. Has female only room but need to share bathroom/toilet with male. Walk in price will be cheaper.

No any rule for quietness after 23:00. One day even there was a group of local people checking on 12:00pm and sound of eating/talking/cleaning till 2:00 am. So think twice if you are a light sleeper. The wash room is very slippery and I fell down and got hurt.

Walking distance from the bus station and all jetties / dive shops. All staff was very friendly and helpful for any questions

Everything great with the hostel! Semporna itself is mostly a good location for 1/2 nights while making your way to mabul / or plans for diving/ snorkelling excursions

Clean & comfortable.

The accomodation is in walkable distance to the jetty and a lot of restaurants. We especially enjoyed the common area when we needed a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. The hospitality of the staff made our stay even better.

Nice and friendly staff. Very helpful on everything. Good common area for social needs. Really worth it considering the price. Semporna is a small town. The location of this hostel is close to the jetty also to most places.

not suitable for people with lots of luggages coz it’s on the third floor. but it’s great for backpackers!

Convenient location near bus station and boat docks. Shower had hot water. Wifi worked well. Kind and helpful staff who arranged a shuttle for me to get to the airport. I did not book a tour through the hostel but this service was available as well.

The staffs are very kind, I love them so much! The location is good, not noisy like those near the jetty. Fresh Malaysian breakfast every day. We can wash and hang out diving equipment and clothes. Air-conditioning and lockers in the dorms.

Lockers are just enough for small bags, not big enough for big hiking bags.

The price

Everything is extremely basic. Bathrooms are not too clean and very smelly. Bunk beds are almost falling apart and noisy, sheets had stains. No actual breakfast included, only some slices of toast available.

-staff/owner help to keep shoe to prevent from missing -pantry is equip with microwave, coway water dispenser, eating plate cup mug, eating cutlery and stuff -got bread, 3in1 beverage self service -got locker need deposit -aircone working fine -hot shower, no water issue like run out of water -got drying rack at (like backyard) for sharing -got tables and chairs at living room for sharing -cheap price, facilities quite complete -can book airport shuttle service from them at cheap price, mini bus sharing

-smell, air circulation in male dormitory room -used(wet) towel don't have hanging/drying area in dormitory room, although have drying area at backyard for sharing, might get confuse if everyone use the same towel given -better install small night light in each bed, because when sleeping at night (sharing) main lights is(should be) off

The small sleeping box was sufficient for an overnight stay. The way to the bus station is short. And there is a small breakfast.

The bathroom is not very inviting.

stayed in private room and it smelt like damp bathroom had no hand soap didn’t feel very secure, was concerned people were going to walk in from the corridor area isn’t the best

The host is very nice and helpful and does everything, that you feel welcome. He also helped me with booking tours, bus,... The position of the hostel is pretty good, just 3 minutes walk to the bus station, 5 minutes walk to the jetty for getting a tour.

Best and cheapest place to stay in Semporna, the beds are big and comfy and you can turn the AC on and off as you please. The people who work here are super nice too. Highly recommend!

Great place to stay for a few nights. The owner lives there himself and is constantly taking care of everything. Very friendly and clean. Small local breakfast in the morning for self service. Clean washrooms and well working AC system if you like. You’ll meet all kind of different people there, some backpackers, divers and also locals. Very fair price-performance ratio! Particularly in the dorms. we had a double bed room, because I’m a bit bigger and need a bigger bed, also very fair priced! Totally recommend this place!!

The hostel was great with arranging for a late airport pickup for much cheaper than anything else. Spent a night here before heading to Mabul Island and it worked out. It's amazing that they include breakfast for that price. The companies they recommend for tours and diving are good companies and the prices are amongst the cheapest in all of Semporna.

Everything you need. Simple and clean hostel. Breakfast is toast and pastries which is good.
