The property serves the best mountain view. It’s clean, homely and comfortable. The food here feels like home, coffee being the best. Also, the Owner of the property, Hanumant Bhai is a go to man for all stay needs. You demand, he will deliver.

I love it, nothing which I didn’t like.

We came to Sari village because we wanted to hike up to Deoria Tal lake and Chandrashilla, in Chopta (both stunning and well worth it). The location of Moon hotel is excellent as “base camp” for these treks. We had booked only one night but came back for a second night after Chopta because we felt very welcome by everyone. The food is good and warms you up after a day outside. The room is basic, clean and you can just ask the staff if anything is missing and they will help you. There is hot water, but no heating (which is normal in the village). Everyone at Moon is incredibly nice and kind, they really make this place. Thank you so much!

I think for the price we payed there isn’t much not to like. Don’t expect a hotel and make sure you have warm clothes, it is at around 2500m altitude.

Cafe is most attractive and staff is so friendly.

Saari is a perfect spot for trekking to Tungnath and Deoriatal and Moon Hotel was exactly what we needed: basic accomodations, simple tasty meals, helpful staff.

A menu at the cafe would be helpful but staff prepared everything we asked for anyway.

Stay is located on Sari main road. Walkable distance to Deorital trek starting point. Host Hanumanth is very good. Takes care of your preference. He also suggests viable routes and transports.

Room size was good. But it had extra bed which makes very less space for walking. Charges for bonefire, that too in December should be discouraged.

The host, food, and our guide were exceptional. They attended to our needs and ensured our comfort. Our guide led us on the Deori Tal trek and kept us safe throughout the journey.

The location is amazing with a clear view of the Chandrashila peak. The owners are really friendly and helpful. The food that you get is simple but delicious and homely. Rooms are clean and there is plenty of greenery around which makes the stay really pleasant

The only minor inconvenience i would say is the Indian style toilet.
