It was an amazing visit with my family. Thanks to the friendly staff for making our stay so enjoyable!

The service at the Kempinski continues to be disappointing for a big name hotel. Check-in was slow - and despite being ‘Gold’ (whatever that means now) there was no early check-in. More frustrating was that when we did get our room, they offered to bring our bags to the room. I had an online meeting - so offered to bring them myself. They insisted they would do it and they’d be with us in five minutes. 45 minutes and three phone calls later to chase them, I went down to the reception to find them, only to miss my meeting. The rooms are nice and in good condition - but continue to use single plastic toiletries galore. We will stay elsewhere next time.

From the moment we arrived, we felt taken care of at the hotel. A beautiful and very well-maintained building, we felt very safe with the tasteful perimeter and security station at the entrance. Service was five-star, whether from the front desk, the tour of the entire facility by the butler (yes, butler service!), or the room service that set up a roll-away bed. Travelling with four young children, the staff made them feel welcome and treated them like little adults (which helped us with setting behavioral expectations). We purchased the breakfast package upon arrival, even knowing that we'd miss one day due to early departure to tour Alexandria. Service showed again when they assembled six boxed meals (& coffee) for us to collect by 5:30 that morning. When we did make it to breakfast, we enjoyed a cosmopolitan menu that pleased everyone. Best was the server who imparted daily wisdom while refilling coffee. Location was great: we walked to Tahrir Square in the early evening and were able to walk right outside the hotel to walk along the Nile River. I regret we didn't have a lot of time to enjoy the gorgeous hotel. We (my wife, another couple, and I) enjoyed a delightful evening at the rooftop bar; the old fashioneds were a bit sweet for me but delicious after a day of touring and my wife enjoyed the wine selection. I regret we never made it to the jazz bar the floor below; the ambiance felt awesome but the night was too beautiful to sit inside. Next time!

This hotel has a very good location, design and convenience. It is a bit less than 4 Seasons but a lot better. We have stayed in both. It is more modern and updated. I loved their spa with saunas and relaxation room. The views on the roof top bar are amazing. Overall, excellent references. I would definitely go back.

The swimming pool on roof was amazing. Lovely and warm. Beautiful view!
The service wasn’t great. Had to ask multiple time to replace kettle in room and scales. Also had issues with paying bill - took a long time as a document for the credit card block was lost.

It was an ideal.place to retreat to in central Cairo. The rooms were quiet, clean amd comfortable. The pool overlookong the Nile was gorgeous, as was the jazz bar. The breakfast and all the food and drinks were delicious! The thing that really made it for us was the staff. They couldn't do enough for us. They were professional, kind and very welcoming. Thank you!

Wonderful and friendly staff, many lounges and areas to sit in, the gym is decent. The location is a walking distance from a lot of local shops and restaurants. Overall I recommend this to anyone visiting Cairo!

Pros : it is a nice hotel in a good location , right by the Nile and close to the Egyptian museum . The breakfast buffet was excellent
Cons - a bit expensive .
Failure to respond to me when I tried to contact them by e mail and phone regarding some items I accidentally left in the safe . No reply to 3 e mails and when I tried to phone reception put me through to somebody who didn't speak English and who then cut me off

Great hotel. Very good location. Room very comfortable. Great view from the pool roof top bar . Very nice breakfast.

Excellent location near many attractions yet in a relatively calm area.
Service by staff was very good although too many were offering help which was a bit overwhelming. Breakfast was varied and good. Hotel is not very big so it made it more peaceful than other larger hotels. Rooms are on the small side but adequate enough, the cost is higher than reasonable for the quality of room, double door for toilet needs to lock better as there’s a gap.
The room décor needs some updating, at least a carpet deep machine wash so does the corridors. Would recommend and return.

Concierge Mohammed (?) very helpful. My husband needed some medicine. He got me in contact with a pharmacy. When the pharmacy failed to deliver, he called our tour director and the medicine was procured.
Scary to be in a foreign land with a problem…really appreciated his help.

I booked this hotel for an overnight stay as it had a roof top bar & swimming pool. The offical photo makes the pool and roof area look bigger, in fact it is fairly small, it has about 4 sun loungers and 6 tables. The pool lenght is about 10 meters. The tables are virtually on the edge of the pool, so do expect to get shoes wet. The view over the river are nice, any other direction is not.
Our room was comfortable, but it lacked detail. As an example, they appeared to have forgotten to remove the dead flowers and replace them. The staff is this hotel seemed more formal than the other places i stayed in my recent trip.
Overall, i would say it is a OK hotel for a 24 hour stay, 15 min walk to the main sqaure.

This hotel is state of the art! Very secure, professional, but personable, inviting and thorough. They supported all of my requested accommodations and remained friendly, inviting and professional when there was a need to negotiate changes with my stay. I'm glad I got a chance to experience an Awesome hotel along with an Amazing city.

Positioned on the Nile river with the view of riverboats and yachts floating by. The Kempinski hotel welcomes you with a real feeling of warmth and hospitality.
The friendly staff especially Abeer the guest relations manager who oozes warmth, all make you feel at home.
The hotel has all the facilities that you could ask for, the restaurants, the lounges, the pool, the spa and wellness Centre, combined with a fantastic team of attentive and caring staff all positioned within a grand 5 star establishment make this the ideal home away from home.

Nice pool bar and spa, not enough dinning options and extensive menu. Food was average especially at the rooftop pool bar, we had ordered sandwiches which came quite cold and rubbery considering it was a toasted sandwich.
Need to definitely up the food.

Bad hotel needs refurbishing pool area It’s terrible for some lounges for the full hotel staff give you fake drinks to the alcohol. They put your food inside. Terrible need to stay in Fairmount Hotel Pinski does not deserve the name.

The property was beautiful, updated, family friendly and accommodating. The staff was so friendly. If you needed anything all you had to do was ask. I would highly recommend staying at the property.

The hotel is located a block away from The Four Seasons Hotel and sits next to the Nile. It is surrounded by historical Victorian, Art Nouveau and Art Deco ex-mansions in the Garden City neighborhood. The Turkish restaurant is good and upstairs bar has excellent views. Helpful, friendly staff.
