About this house rental
Nestled in Hilton Head Island, this charming house for $2,242 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. If you want a fully updated home with lots of space, amazing views, large pool, close to the beach then look no further. 3 Lookout is located on a quite private cul de sac in Palmetto Dunes Resort with views of both the 11 mile lagoon system and the Robert Trent Jones golf course. It is less than a 1/4 mile from the ocean and offers seven bedrooms and six and half bathrooms. The home has a large swimming pool and hot tub with lots of outdoor space on multiple large balconies. All of this wonderful space is located on two floors and even offers an elevator that is especially nice for bringing in luggage or groceries. If you are not familiar with Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort, I can promise you will not be disappointed with the amenities offered. Palmetto Dunes is a 2000 acre oceanfront resort that spans 3 miles of beautiful beach front; and 11 miles of lagoons offering kayaking, fishing, canoeing, three golf courses, tennis courts, pickleball court and miles of beautiful bike paths including a path under the highway that allows passage to Shelter Cove Shopping and Marina. In the summer Shelter Cove offers a carnival type atmosphere with music, rides, and fireworks every Tuesday night. Our home has a very large well equipped kitchen that is a cooks dream with gas stove, two dishwashers, two Keurig coffee makers, and a large commercial refrigerator and tons of counter space allowing for multiple cooks in the kitchen. The open floor plan makes sure that the cook does not miss out on any of the family activities. Upstairs we have another gathering spot with large TV, bar, and shuffle board that we like to refer to as the man cave. Our home has no shortage of bedrooms or places to sleep with 13 beds sleeping 23 people. The home has three master suites with kings sized beds two overlooking the golf course and access to balconies. Two queen sized bedrooms that have a jack and jill bathroom located between them and one of these has balcony access and golf course views. For families traveling with kids or golfers who want their own sleeping place, the large bedroom with six beds will be a big hit and is next to both a full bathroom and a half bath. The seventh bedroom offers two twin beds with private bath. The outside space in 3 Lookout will beckon you to enjoy the large pool and spa, lounge by the pool with a favorite book, watch a beautiful sunset, seek shelter in a shady porch, play cornhole in the back yard, grill your dinner entrée on the weber grill, or rent watercraft to enjoy the lagoon. We have tried to provide many amenities that travelers need or appreciate. Extremely comfortable beds with luxurious sheets and towels,, beach towels, bathroom toiletries, blow dryers, starter supply of dishwasher pods, laundry detergent, toilet paper, paper towels, trash can liners, aluminum foil and plastic wrap, abundance of spices, beach cart and wagon for carrying beach chairs, cooler, beach toys, etc to the beach and lots of games and books to enjoy. There is no shortage of entertainment options with our home. We offer shuffle board, ping pong, corn hole, lots of board games to enjoy during your stay. With a three car garage, you will have enough room to park up to six cars in the driveway or garage. (the maximum Palmetto Dunes allows)

Our growing family of 22 just spent a wonderful Christmas in this fantastically well-equipped beautiful home at 3 Lookout perfectly located in the beautiful Palmetto Dunes. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and ample space for all of us to play games, open presents and even had 14 around the spacious Island making Sushi. We took advantage of golf (those who didn't cheered the golfers as they finished Hole 13 in back of the house), played Pickleball, biked on the beach all within minutes of this lovely home. Leanna was always very gracious and quick to respond with any questions.

Our stay at Sand Castles was great. Lots of well appointed bedrooms and a great kitchen with lovely porch and outdoor grill. Great view of Robert Trent Jones 13th green. The pool and hot tub were perfect temperature. We had a blast. We will be back for another vacation!

We celebrated my parent’s 50th anniversary in HHI this summer. We had family traveling from all over the East Coast to celebrate with us. 3 Lookout was the perfect house for us to do so. The house had ample space for a gathering of 32 to enjoy a catered low country boil. It comfortably slept 10 adults and 11 teens/kids. The pool and outdoor seating areas were amazing. The walk to the beach was quick and the house provided plenty of beach chairs, beach carts and toys. We will absolutely be back!

Host was super proactive and highly responsive with all communications. Never been in a rental that was so stocked and had that true home feel. Our family of 17 (ages 6 to 76) had plenty of room. Pool was huge and clean. Bedrooms spacious and 7 bathrooms was so helpful. Absolutely no complaints here!!

Our family of 17 had such a wonderful time staying here. It was set up for us to have relaxing moments and also many fun moments gathered playing games and laughing. The house was clean and set up with everything a group could need including items for the beach. The owner was very quick to respond to messages when i had questions about the area and always helpful .

I enjoyed this home in 2022 with golf buddies. We booked it again this year, but for family. My father passed a month before this trip but we decided to go and celebrate his life, as he would have wanted us to. This house made us feel at home. It is a beautiful layout with plenty of space, bedrooms, and baths. The pool was exceptional especially for the kids, and the walk to the beach is only a couple blocks. The view of the 13th hole on Trent Jones reminded us of the many time we played that hole with my dad and the sunset over the green was glorious. Thanks Leanna for your home and the memories is created for us.

This property was perfect for our group (4 adult couples). It is clean, well equipped, ideally located to golf/beach/HH attractions, and in excellent shape. What makes this property even more attractive is the responsiveness of the owners. I highly recommend this rental.

What a perfect trip. This location is not only gorgeous and clean, but location and property manager are superb. The house was seriously so perfect for our group. We ranged from a 4 y/o to our wonderful Nana and Papa celebrating their 50th anniversary. Space was amazing-and the kids bunk room was honestly a life savor! Hot tub and pool were excellent. Kitchen amenities were way above our expectations. We loved watching our group come by while playing golf too-right on the 13th hole! Beach access was so easy. Though weather was a bit average, these Midwesterner’s enjoyed every bit of 60 degree weather in November. I am already looking to book with our friend group for the summer. We will 💯 be back to 3 Lookout. Thank you Leanna!!

This home is beautiful, very clean, and offered many amenities to meet our extended family's needs while enjoying the beauty of Hilton Head! Plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortably, and loved having plenty of beach chairs, towels, wagons available for our beach time. Would definitely stay here again!

Overall we had a wonderful time staying in this beautiful home. There were 12 of us ladies and had more than enough room. The location was great and everything we needed in the kitchen. The only issues we had were the back door lock wasn’t working for us. This made some of the ladies very uncomfortable. We also couldn’t get the hot tub to turn on. If I could give one suggestion would be to provide more toilet paper. However, we would definitely stay there again.

We could not have asked for a more perfect property for our Family vacation. The house was immaculate and very well stocked. The decor was fresh and inviting and the location was perfect. Easy access to the beach and bike paths. The neighborhood was very quiet especially since we were on a cul-de-sac.
Leanna was very responsive to any questions we had.
The biggest hit was the bunk room. A great place for the kids to sleep have their own space and plenty of room to play..We are looking at dates to rebook next year!!

Great House in a nice quiet Neighborhood
The House was beautiful and had everything we needed for our Golf Trip. The Hosts were great and graciously accommodated our request for a late checkout so that we could stay there until we had to leave to go to the Airport. We would definitely stay there again if and when we come back to Hilton Head.

Great location
This property was located at the end of a cul-de-sac with a great view to the golf course in the back. The house was very spacious with a great kids room over the garage. It was only a quick walk to the beach and it had a bunch of beach chairs, toys for kids, and other helpful items. The owner was extremely helpful, kind, and very responsive. We would go back to this house any year.

Sweet Retreat

Thank you kindly for letting us build memories at 3 Lookout. We had a large group and the home was more than able to accommodate us. I mean, when you can fit 6 cars in the driveway, you know you’re in for a treat! This home did feel like a home, not a stale place to rent. It was bright, spacious, clean and comfortable. The kitchen/den area was the main hang spot, where we could enjoy spending time together while cooking, watching sports and mixing up our favorite cocktails, a perfect gathering area. The elevator was a nice touch when traveling with elders or people with disabilities.
Having that second fridge in the laundry room was irreplaceable. And the ice machine was life changing. It was so easy to load up beach coolers with the ice just across from the fridge and boy did it make plenty of ice.
We appreciated how every drawer and cabinet was labeled, that was a huge help navigating through the kitchen. There was nothing y’all didn’t have.
Each bedroom was beautiful and the towels folded neatly on each bed was a comforting touch, you know how folks can get to fighting over bath towels. A very cool addition was that y’all provided beach towles, such a great thought. Pool side was dreamy and hot tub was steamy, providing a relaxing way to jump start or end a day at the beach. There were plenty of pool floats, games and giant connect 4, y’all thought of everything. All the beach chairs, wagons and buggies were truly perfect and there was plenty for everyone. The walk to the beach was less than 10 minutes, so perfect. We felt a part of the community as we could watch the golfers on the green, visit the general store and meet the neighbors.
This was a step above other beach spots we have stayed in and we will tell our friends and hope to return in the future.

We also had saw multiple roaches inside, but exterminators were called. Other than that, I highly recommend it.
