The River Tolka and the Royal Canal flow through the area. One of Drumcondras main sights is Croke Park, where Ireland's national games of Gaelic football and hurling can be seen. This is therefore an ideal spot if you're heading to Dublin for a show or sport! Please take a look at the guidebook on my listing for recommended places to eat and drink in the area! ## Transit The easiest way to get to the property from the airport is by taxi. The journey will take approximately 20-30 minutes and depending on traffic the journey costs between €20 - €30. If you prefer public transport, take the 700 Aircoach from the airport to the Glasnevin, Botanic Road stop; a return trip only costs €14. The property is only a short walk from this stop. Exploring Dublin couldn't be easier with Drumcondra station just a 15 minute walk away and easy access to several bus routes on Botanic Road itself. Pick up a Leap card from a local newsagent and you will be able to use all public transport across the city while you are here. Another great way to get around the city is cycling, a 3-day pass costing only €5, with bike stations throughout the city. The nearest bike stand to the property is Eccles Street, about 20 minutes away. If you wish to pop out of the city, you can do day trips to other cities and towns in the West and South of Ireland such as Westport, Galway and Cork. There two main intercity train stations in Dublin, these are called Heuston and Connolly. ## Notes
