My wife and I, 2 daughters and their boyfriends recently rented this unit for three weeks. There are excellent views from every room, and ample room for six, both in the unit and at the pool. Check in and out was easy and efficient. Correspondence with the owner and property manager was prompt, many excellent recommendations for restaurants, shopping, tours etc. the unit was well appointed, save the one negative comment below. The area is quiet and peaceful, a contrast to the hustle and bustle of Patong. As mentioned previously there are lots of stairs, so if mobility is an issue this might not be the place for you. Having said that, we managed fine, and my wife has had some significant significant surgery on one leg. There are a number of good restaurants, 7-11, and massages in walking distance, and several others a few kilometers away. Fresh fruit is available nearby on the beach. The pool and property were clean and well kept. The beach is not the best for swimming, but the views and sunsets are amazing, and there are other beaches nearby. Now, the reason I could not give the property 5* is as follows.... first the beds were very hard, but that is typically in this part of the world. Second, the couch in the living rm needs to be cleaned. It is a light beige in color, and had multiple stains...my wife is a bit of a neat freak, and she wouldn’t sit on it without putting a towel down first. And lastly, there was an issue with the cost and communication regarding cleaning and airport transfers which were different from what we were originally told. Some background. I sent a couple emails asking details about the unit, distance from the airport, cleaning frequency, etc. then I requested the dates for the three weeks in question Dec. 28- Jan 18, and it was accepted by the owner. Subsequently he said the rates were wrong on the site, and said the price should be almost double the price that was approved. The owner offered a compromise which was still significantly more. I said I was at my budget and could/would not pay more. The owner said he would honor the agreement. During those original email I was told the owner could arrange complimentary Airport transfers, and cleaning was every 3 days. I was later told transfers were not complimentary (quoted a price nearly double the going rate), and That cleaning was every 5 days. Not a big deal, but not what I was told before I booked. Perhaps because of a perceived loss of income? No explanation given.

Great location, spectacular views
The apt is located in a quiet part of town, but close to some shops and restaurants (check out The Cove). The best part of the apt is its right off the beach and has an amazing view - the ocean with mountains in the background are perfect for watching the sun set at night. You can even see the Big Buddha statue in the distance. We were a group of 4 and fit comfortably. We had some issues with 3 of the ACs (mostly leaking/not working right and being noisy) but the property manager did respond quickly to our requests and fixed the issues. Overall, we enjoyed our stayed and can't wait to return!

We travelled round the island and ate in a mixture of restaurants and never had a bad meal. Restaurants in the large resort towns are catering for their tourist audience so were not as good as others we found.
I would recommend the Sunday night market in the centre of Phuket Town (there is one on the outskirts too) for street food and trinkets. It was Chinese New Year whilst we were there so it was very lively.
I would highly recommend staying at Waterside as it is a fantastic base away from the crowds but they are not too far away if you want them.

The condition of the house is exceptional. Spacious. Beautifully designed and decorated. Fully equipped with all things you need to live in a home. The staff is very helpful in a lot of ways and willing to help out as requested. The area is safe and peaceful, which sometimes can be very hard to find in Phuket these days. The pool is awesome. The view is SPECTACULAR. No doubt we did have a great time.
However, for benefits of future travelers I need to make the following feedback:
- I don't personally like the method of payment, which is a wire transfer. Besides the fact that it will cost you quite a bit, esp. if you do international transactions, I get nervous when I don't promptly hear from the receiver of the money. I probably ended up paying $150 in total for bank fees.
- The beach directly in front is not really swim-able because it's full of rocks and hard corals. Bring your beach trekking shoes.
- The villa is situated on the 3rd floor of a 5-story villa complex. To get to the pool or the beach, you will have to take about 30 steps downstairs. To get to the parking lot, it's 20 steps upstairs. If you have elderly people with you, make sure you are aware of this fact.
This villa meets and exceeds our expectations in many ways. So, thank you!

We would "second" what has already been said in other reviews... The owner and his local property manager were incredibly helpful in setting up everything we needed - in our case: nanny, chef, groceries, transport, masseuses, and 2 baby cribs + high chairs - all with top quality and reasonable prices. And the apartment, the pool, the beach, the views, and the daytrips/activities were absolutely delightful. Made it easy to relax and enjoy, even with 2 babies, and it was soooo hard to leave! We hope to go back again soon.

- Large balcony, breathtaking view over Chalong bay from every room.

- 5 restaurants on the beach at a short walking distance even for small kids (3 local restaurants plus the restaurant of the Panwa beach resort and the more fancy cloud 19 restaurant)
- Overall stay perfectly organised by Noi and all the staff, thanks again.

- Beach is small and due to the tide and a few rocks it's not the best place to spend a full day.
- Animated centers and white sand beaches are quite far (30-40 min), so be sure to have a car.

The décor is a very tasteful country Asian style, and there’s a feeling of lightness and comfort in each room. We were there during the peak Christmas holiday season, and even then the pool area was often completely empty. At low tide the beach is long enough for a 2-mile round trip walk or run, and there are some charming restaurants at one end if you want to pause for a drink or a meal. Best of all, the owner’s apartment manager, Noi, is a huge asset; she will arrange for inexpensive Thai massages in the apartment, coordinate meals, book reservations, and help in every way imaginable. The owner also has a car and driver that you can use, which I highly recommend; cost us about 25% less than renting a Hertz car with none of the hassle of finding our way around in a new area. We enjoyed being away from the intense tourist crowd on the west side of the island, although it was only a 30-min drive to get there for dinner on a couple of evenings. Marc Singleton, the owner, is also extremely helpful, and this place is every bit as lovely and peaceful as the photos on the website.

We have just returned from a wonderful two week holiday spent at B4, Waterside. The accommodation was perfect for three couples. It rained more than usual during our stay, so we had to stay in quite a bit, but the apartment was large enough for us not to be in each other's hair! We even managed Yoga lessons, three times a week, on the terrace.
Waterside is a non-pretentious modern property with breath-taking views. It is well maintained and decorated, with all the amenities one would need away from home. We also enjoyed the fact that the area around it is still not over-developed and retains its authentic island-life like quality.
The owner, Marc, was extremely helpful and and responded immediately and positively to any queries we raised. We cannot praise enough the staff responsible for looking after us - especially Khun Noi - who was there 24/7 to ensure that all our needs and requirements be taken care of. She is a wonderful cook and organized a couple of wonderful meals for us.
B4 Waterside is definitely to be recommended to anyone wanting a perfect holiday in Phuket. A car is definitely necessary.

We have just returned from a wonderful two week holiday spent at B4, Waterside. The accommodation was perfect for three couples. It rained more than usual during our stay, so we had to stay in quite a bit, but the apartment was large enough for us not to be in each other's hair! Waterside is a non-pretentious modern property with breath-taking views. It is well maintained and decorated, with all the amenities one would need away from home. We also enjoyed the fact that the area around it is still not over-developed and retains its authentic island-life like quality.
The owner, Marc, was extremely helpful and and responded immediately and positively to any queries we raised. We cannot praise enough the staff responsible for looking after us - especially Khun Noi - who was there 24/7 to ensure that all our needs and requirements be taken care of. She is a wonderful cook and organized a couple of wonderful meals for us.
B4 Waterside is definitely to be recommended to anyone wanting a perfect holiday in Phuket. A car is definitely necessary.

Great location for a quiet family holiday - thrill seekers may be better suited to a standard Phuket resort destination. Spacious apartment decorated to a high standard. Helpful management with fast reponse from either Marc or onsight management. Car is a must if you want to part self cater. Reasonable food located adjacent on the beach. Challong pier on the opposite side of the bay caters for very reasonably priced island excursions. Have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this property for young families, though toddlers may struggle with steps from the apartment down to the pool/beach. Kids will love chasing crabs on the beach with torches after dark.

Stunning views, a great place for relaxation
I went looking for a place that me and my friends could relax with great views and away from the crowds in Phuket. This place definitely fits the bill.
Marc, the owner, was proactive in making my experience a joyful and stress free vacation. He offers a 360 service from the beginning stages of planning to the last communication after your departure. I've stayed at other vacation rentals, but they do not give as much information and helpful tips while you are there as he does. Also, his property manager was always on hand for any issues that cropped along which was extremely helpful since we had some communication barriers. I would say that the service was great from beginning to end.
The home itself is quite spacious, very clean and modern. It has everything you need if you want to entertain or just to enjoy a dinner at home. Wherever you go, there is a view of the sea which makes you feel at peace.
I cannot say enough about the infinity pool. I was there every day at least once a day enjoying the view and the quiet serenity of the ocean waves.
If you are a looking for a place to relax and get away from the congestion of city life, this is definitely a place to go...

Marvellous stay
We have spend 2 weeks in this place with our childreen. The house is great with kids big room and a conditionning air with only a little noise so they could sleep well. The swimming pool is enormous and not so deep. The beach is good but it will be difficult sometime to swim without shoes there is a lot of stones.
Near the house you will find the Novotel so you could enjoy all the opportunities of this hotel (excursions, taxi to go to the center of Phucket...).
But the best of this place is the view from the house where you can see beautifull yatch passing and enjoy great sunset.

Wonderful, luxurious Phuket getaway
A truly fantastic place that ticks all the boxes.
Only 15 mins from Phuket town and amenities, this beautiful, secure development has breathtaking sea views from every room. As all units face West, each evening we sat out on the big balcony with drinks to watch Cape Panwa turn orange and rose. With a beautiful infinity pool and the beach only a few steps beyond, our kids were running around all day collecting shells and building sandcastles whilst we watched on and relaxed. For lunch or dinner you can stroll further along the beach where a variety of international resorts and local restaurants and bars are located. This walk was especially fun under starlight with torches - which thrilled the kids. Overall the development is top drawer as are the courteous and attentive staff, who are just a call away under the very capable Noi. Just ask and she can arrange....
Unit B4 itself is decorated to an amazing standard, with every comfort imagineable. Furniture and fittings are miles in excess of what one would expect in a holiday unit, and a class above anything we saw elsewhere. The beds are vast, comfy and the ensuites luxurious. The kitchen comes fully equipped which helped us settle in easily. The flatscreen satellite TV and broadband wireless meant we could catch up with life outside when needed. Overall pretty much everything is in place to enjoy this unit to it's fullest, and being in the middle tier of the development, B4 is quiet and elevated making the views on offer captivating. Next time we will bring binoculars!
Very high recommendation as a destination - especially Unit B4 - from a family who habitually stay in rented holiday accommodation, and loved this particular experience. We will be coming back.

Excellent
Our stay at Waterside was fantastic, the property is what you want on a luxery vacation, well maintained and with excellent service. It is a bit remote, but therefore nice and quite, so transportation is a must but even that can be arranged as was proven during our last stay.
We can recommend this property to everybody, even for children there is a nice pool, easy beach access. Restaurants in walking distance are limited although those available give you very good value for money. One thing is that it has a lot of stairs to reach both the pool and the beach which needs to be considered for those less mobile.
