Situated in New Braunfels, this attractive condo for $419 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Comal River Condominiums is a gated complex that sits on the beautiful banks of the Comal River. With the Comal River just steps away, guests can enjoy fishing, tubing, swimming, or even a peaceful stroll. This rental offers private access to the Comal River. Walking distance to restaurants, downtown, Schlitterbahn, and a short drive to Gruene, Texas! Comal River 357 is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo that sleeps and allows 6 guests maximum. Master Bedroom: Queen 2nd Bedroom: 2 Twins Livingroom: Sleeper Sofa Fully furnished with bathing towels, bed linens, cookware, a standard drip coffee maker, dishwasher, washer/dryer, TV's and more! Enjoy grilling with family and friends at the property-provided BBQ pits located along the green private river access to the Comal River. -Sitting on the relaxing banks of the Comal River you can get a 1.5 hour float in by jumping in on property and floating down to the last public exit (corner of S Union and Lincoln St) The walk back to CRC is about 15-20 minutes! -Take advantage of the beautiful green area on property, bring some lawn chairs to sit and have a day on the riverbank with the convenience of staying on property for lunch and bathroom breaks. -A quick 15-minute walk to the Schlitterbahn East -Blastenhoff entrance! Pack your cooler, and sunscreen, and don't have to deal with finding a parking spot! -Walk with your tubes and cooler about 10-15 minutes to Prince Solms Park/Hinman Island Park for public access to the Comal River and Tube Chute, jump in and float down to either the CRC private riverbank (30min float) for a pitstop (make sure you’re wearing your property wristband!) or keep floating down to the last public exit, corner of S Union and Lincoln St for about a 2 hour float! The walk back to CRC is about 15-20 minutes! -Take a brisk 10-20 minute walk to nearby restaurants or stroll further into downtown New Braunfels to enjoy more local restaurants, bars and breweries, shop in our quaint boutiques, and get strudel in the oldest bakery in Texas, Naegelin's Bakery! - If you want to float a long portion of the Guadalupe River, we advise you to drive to Rockin R to rent THEIR tubes and use their shuttle service. -And, Gruene, Texas with the world-famous Gruene Hall and delicious restaurants such as Gruene River Grill and The Gristmill is only a 10-minute drive away! Places we recommend that are within a 5-20 minute walk to and from the complex: Restaurants: Spud Ranch, Pats Place, Tin Top Burgers, Union Street Station, Muck & Fuss, New Braunfels Coffee, The Mess Around, Naegelin's Bakery, Bootlegger Pizza, Krause’s Café, McAdoos Seafood, Myrons Prime Steakhouse. Bars/Night Life: The Oyster Bar, Calahans Pub & Pizza, Black Whale Pub, Moonshine & Ale, Phoenix Saloon, Scores Sports Bar, The Pour Haus, Downtown Social. Everyone in party must be 25 or older to book. Renter's ID and Credit Card must be presented to receive check-in information. Occupancy is not to be exceeded at any time. No daytime guests are allowed. NO PETS. Wristbands and Parking Passes are enforced at this property. Each condo will receive 6 wristbands (maximum occupancy) which must be worn at all times while on property and 2 parking passes. Renters are guaranteed 1 marked and covered parking spot while second-vehicle parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis anywhere unmarked on property. Overflow parking is a 10-15-minute walk, away at the New Braunfels Chamber of Commerce. Monthly Rates in our Low Season are available!

Hello, we are a family of 4 and had a great stay. We extended our 4 day stay to 5. Perfect View. Quiet. 2nd bedroom connected to a separate bathroom which was great for the girls. Clean! Air conditioner kept the place cold which is important in Texas in August!

This is our second time staying here and we absolutely love the location. The HVAC system works because we were cold and kept changing it. The condo is dated but clean. The security guard made sure no one was traspassing. Very family friendly. Didn't have to park far from our condo either. We will keep coming back.

As a local expert, we would have expected a heads up on the following: 1) the main bridge in town is closed to tubing is extremely limited (1/2 mile). 2) the community is primarily made up of local/ permanent residents so activity outside of parking your car and going inside is not allowed (ie. kids playing outside is not appreciated and are expected to play in the street instead). 3) Although the kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, pots, pans, and silverware; nothing looks clean especially with food stuck to items in the cabinets. Cabinets are sticky and hard to open. Ceiling has dirt lines from the AC vents. This location is not inexpensive, and we are not expecting a remodeled condo however i do expect it to be clean and in an environment that is welcoming.

Excellent proximity to attractions, downtown, shopping and restaurants; many attainable by walking. We stopped at the Visitor's Center for brochures and advice on where and what to do. Very quiet, peaceful area (we were here during a winter month) and the view is terrific. The condo itself was clean although it could use some updating at some point. Everything was in good working order with the exception of a sometimes leaking refrigerator and if we had any questions or problems, help was a phone call away at River City Resorts with their cheerful staff.
