To top it off, an evening stroll to the top of the hill is the perfect sundowner spot under the Karri Trees. Things to do and see in the area Only a few minutes drive from Balingup, part of the Blackwood River Valley, there are specialty shops, local vineyards, a lavender oil farm, restaurants (offering Paleo, Organic, Vegan, and other family meals), and the famous Bibbulmun Track nearby. Try the Golden Valley Tree Park, or the historic Greenbushes mining town with a natural outdoor swimming pool. Take a leisurely drive to Bridgetown 20 mins away, or further afield to Margaret River, Manjimup and Busselton all within an hour.
