Lovely facility in a lovely location. Rapidly felt like home.

Location, chalet layout and private nature.

Maybe some thought over provisions. Happy to pay more for a more comprehensive selection (more than 2 coffee pods, bread etc)

Excelent couples bush retreat

We loved the privacy of this cottage! Super relaxing and peaceful and also very comfortable for us. Loved the nature scenes all around.

Way too many spiders in the toilet but also in the bed and that worried us overnight! Also, I’ve mentioned we don’t drink full cream milk but didn’t have almond or oat milk available for the breakfast. The toilet needs a bit of renovation as the handlers for the sink and shower.

Perfect weekend away to escape the city

The property is beautiful, comfortable and thoughtfully constructed. The owners clearly go to a lot of trouble to make sure every little detail is catered for. I loved the breakfast basket and wood left out for the fire. We loved our weekend at Jalbrook and will be back.

Honestly can’t think of anything. Maybe the extra firewood was a little overpriced becaused we bought it cheaper from a nearby store.

The atmosphere and chance to be in touch with nature in a wonderful setting provide a superb opportunity to relax and unwind, forgetting the outside world for a while. We've been before and would certainly go again.

Wonderful staff and beautiful surroundings.

Beautiful Estate and lovely surroundings, nice and close to town. very clean. After I mucked up my booking dates the staff all jumped into action and ensured they were able to accomodate us last minute. I couldn’t be more thankful of all the staff involved who were absolutely lovely. Highly recommend

The cottage was peaceful and surrounded by wildlife and lush greenery. We especially loved sitting on the deck and watching the many birds in the yard. We even got to feed the alpacas, which was a great experience. Would love to come back again one day.

Would recommend this place to anyone just make sure the booking has gone through.

Nice clean rooms with a lovely bush view with a lovely feel/vibe. There was a nice breakfast basket on arrival and lovely Native arrangement on the end of the bench. There's a nice small town at the end of the road and other small towns not to far away if you would want to do a day trip here or there.

Didn't like the fact that we were told when we were 40min out of Perth out of a 3hr drive on the way down, when we called to say we were going to be a bit late that they tried to contact us earlier in the week and that our payment had not gone through and had cancelled our booking after I had gotten a email confirmation saying it did go through. Admittedly I did see that the payment had not gone through when we spoke to the Lynn on the way down, but what was frustrating that I was told that the contact no. and email they were given was incorrect. I did book through booking.com and on there it does show my correct contact details as I got the Booking Confirmation on my email, so I'm not sure what happened there. In the end Lynn did get it sorted for us but this did cause some stress and disappointment on my partner at the time especially when we didn't get the room we were after and the spa wasn't working. Beside the negative here it is a lovely place to stay and will eventually get back there at some stage.

Everything.. location, rammed earth cottage, fire, outdoor spa. Close to town.

Used to get firewood delivered each day. Now only on day of arrival Nd was difficult to source in town. Supply at resort not value for money
