Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved everything about our stay. The chalet was impeccably clean with gorgeous views and so very peaceful. It was lovely seeing the animals every morning and afternoon. Julie and Dave were very hospitable and kind.

Very tranquil & peaceful, very clean and tidy and very comfortable.

Location was excellant, close to town but not too close. Views were amazing and the cottage was nearly perfect. Very clean and tidy and bed was extremely comfortable. Beautiful and quaint township, cafes and coffee were excellant.

Not really what we didn't like but the shower was a bit small in size but the water pressure was excellant. There wasn't anywhere in town for dinner, definitely not a complaint about the property.

Very peaceful, happy and homely and relaxing .

great views . lovely styling and relaxing decor . The verandah is wonderful to relax and have a cup of tea or bbq . The owners and animals are very welcoming and friendly . very clean and a large but cosy cabin . the windows show all the views and at night is very quiet.

A beautiful and peaceful chalet with fantastic views. The place was spotlessly clean and had everything to ensure our stay was extremely comfortable. Julie and Dave were excellent hosts and so obliging when we realised that we'd forggotten a couple of items. Thankyou.

Lovely retreat in the beautiful Balingup hills

Perfect spot for a relaxing retreat away from the City. Julie and Dave's property is simply stunning; vistas of the rolling hills, beautiful garden and friendly farm animals! Chalet was very clean and well presented. Super comfy bed with lots of spare blankets if you were visiting in winter. Lovely deck for watching the animals, enjoying a book or a glass of wine. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook a full meal. Julie and Dave were very kind hosts, and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Also, who could forget Trevor the dog!! We will definitely be back :)

Beautiful place to recharge

The location is extremely peaceful, with absolutely stunning views from the chalet. The chalet was impeccably clean, bright and airy, with lots of beautiful little touches like handmade soap and a selection of teas. Great location with lots of things to see and do within a short drive. Just a great place to stay overall, would definitely recommend.

Hills chalet with views.

Wonderfully location and outlook. Chalet is very clean and comfortable. An array of animals are cared for onsite for those interested. Cooking appliances and kitchen equipment first class if you are self-catering.

Relaxing stay

Julie and Dave have the chalets superbly presented and maintained. The view from the windows is magnificent overlooking a green valley below. They run a small rescue animal sanctuary on site too so we could walk in and see and feed the kangaroos and other animals. Highly recommended for a night or two or three as we did.

A bit off road noise from the road way down below in the valley but that wasn’t too bad at all.

Super cozy and chill property, will definitely return some day.

It was close to town and all the surrounding attractions within the region. Upon returning from our daily adventures, the hosts were friendly and fun to talk to and it was cool to hang out with all their animals and pets.

Restful and the landscape is a surprising hidden treasure

The views are magic and the Chalet is conveniently located. The chalet is heated and we barely felt the cold on this Winter escape. The hills and trees in Balingup and surrounding districts are spectacular. I would highly recommend the drive from Balingup to Nannup for the most scenic adventure on winding roads ever.

The lack of cafes/restaurants in the immediate area. The IGA in Bridgetown does have great food options that can be taken back to the Chalet to be prepared.
