Wonderful scenery and amazing cottage. Close to shops and Bridgetown. The bakery and antique shops are a must. FATS is a lovely cafe for brunch. Highly recommend for a relaxing holiday and break away.

Secluded location. Super quiet.
Unfortunately didn’t plan to cook on this weekend as the kitchen was so well equiped!
Cold.
Fire was on but we were cold, meant an early night for all, super warm once we were in beds!

Loved the eggs bread butter and marmalade provided for breakfast. The wood burning fire made the cottage toasty. Fresh flowers a lovely touch
Mention had been made of a washing machine but there wasn’t one. No matter

Lila was very helpful
We were provided with homemade bread, marmalade , butter , eggs and milk which delivered us breakfast during the whole of our stay
Spacious accommodation with all the equipment you would need we also loved the area
Limited choices for evening meals if you don’t want to cook but recommend the packing shed and Bridgetown brewery during the day and the shamrock in Greenbushes In The evening Don’t miss Greenbushes pool
It didn’t bother us but the lodge is near the road - which is convenient- but it is a bit noisy not anything to keep you awake just if you wanted complete silence that isn’t here

On arrival we discovered that Lila had left us fresh milk, eggs, home baked bread, butter and Marmalade. We immediately felt welcome and at home. The flowers on the table were also a lovely touch.
Sitting on the deck was a challenge with the mosquitos so pack Aeroguard.

The property was lovely and well equipped. Thoughtful touches throughout. Warm welcome from hosts who were fantastic with tips and taking us out to a spot along the Bibbulmun track to walk back to the cottages. Great location for local adventuring.

Fabulous stay, Lila was so welcoming! Our daughter loved feeding the horses and we all loved the indoor wood burner, veranda and outdoor wood fire. Nice walk into town and amazing stars. We'll be back 🙂
Nothing major. Comfier pillows? A barrier to keep tiny ones away from the indoor wood burner?

Cosy fire.
Location was right next to the main road, we could hear the traffic all day and night, so despite the cottages seeming remote on the website they are from it. So it was not quite the peaceful setting I was after. No bbq and the oven required two people to turn it on as the ignition buttons weren't working.

Great holiday stay, the cottage is very clean and tidy, with all essential facilities provided, children enjoyed the feeding of horses. Really pleasant to meet Lila and Chris!
Internet is no good, only drawback....
