This listing is for the upstairs Bay View unit. The upstairs unit is the primary rental and has the ocean view and the highest level of finish. A new added deck facing the ocean is the perfect place to watch the sunset every evcening. The upstairs has 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom. The upstairs unit is accessed by an exterior stairway. Highly desirable Paia location. Half lot back from the ocean. Tucked away yet very near town center. Maui County vacation rental operating permit: STPH 2013/0026. Paia Bay Suites is a two-story cottage built in 1987 and renovated in 2013. It is comprised of two separate suites, but only the upstairs is rented out as a vacation rental. The upstairs is 528 sf with 1 bedroom, 1 full bathroom, kitchen and living/dining area, sleeps two guests. The Bay View Suite is accessed by an outside stairway. The Bay View Suite features simple furnishings in keeping with a beach cottage atmosphere. It has a new Queen-sized bed in the bedroom, a fully remodeled full-size bathroom with walk-in shower, and a fully remodeled kitchen and a living/dining area. There is a beautiful 8,500 square foot fenced yard and outdoor patio area. This yard will be shared with the downstairs unit which will be occupied by one retired person. Parking is ample, off-street and fenced. There is an outdoor shower for washing off sand from the beach, etc. More details: Paia Bay Suites is a new vacation rental offering in one of Paia’s most desirable locations. It sits on Loio Place, a side street which is oceanside of the highway yet is just a short stroll from the heart of Paia Town. It’s a great location for guests wanting to be close to Paia Town and the ocean. Paia Town is an eclectic town with a mix of locals, surfers, New Agers, evangelical Christians, hippies, monied people, working folks, artists, snowbirds, Buddhists, and more. It was a rough plantation town that is now transitioning into Maui’s hippest beach town destination. The property consists of a two-story cottage on a large fenced lot close to the ocean of Paia Bay (it is not oceanfront). (Beware of unlicensed vacation rentals. Maui County is preparing enforcement operations against unlicensed operators which may include closures with limited warning to travelers. Paia Bay Suites is fully licensed and your booking with us is secure.)

My Wife and I loved our stay and our so happy we chose it. The apartment had everything we needed and was so convenient for walking in to town for food/drinks or shopping. Our favourite place to eat was Paia Bay Coffee lovely food and different entertainment daily, Saturday Jazz brunch probably our favourite 11-13. We enjoyed sitting on the Lanai watching the cute little birds and bought some extras seed as they went through it so quickly. You can see the Ocean and the surf breaking through the trees and the mountains. Paia is a cute town and a great base to explore Maui. Already planning our return we loved it.

Paia Bay Suites is a great place to experience Maui. The accommodations/amenities made us feel very comfortable, with the little touches (snacks to add to a picnic, beach chairs , chalk board with local things to see & do) included. The outside balcony, yard & surrounding neighborhood was a wonderful area to take in the sights & sounds of Maui & to enjoy the daily Sunrises & Sunsets. Paia Bay is located near all North Shore beaches, convenient to downtown Paia, Upcountry & the Road to Hana. Exploration of NW Maui & South Maui can easily be done from here. Overall, Paia Bay added to our Maui experience & we would definitely stay there on our next Maui visit Mahalo

Paia Bay Suites was just what we needed to celebrate our retirement. We were pleased with our accommodations and the setting. Margit was a wonderful host. Her quick responses and suggestions for activities and exploring the island were very helpful. Paia is a lovely town with some of the best food on the island.

Great rental property. Clean and comfortable with incredible views. Easy walk to town and a short drive to several amazing beaches. We loved watching the sun set on the point every night. The hosts provided all the essentials and made our vacation simple. We will be back!

This was our second stay at Paia Bay Suites and hopefully not our last. Incredible views from the living area (and a peek a boo ocean view in the shower), cozy and comfortable bedroom and a kitchen stocked well enough for an easy meal cooked in the unit. So close to all the shops and restaurants in Paia - and the beach! - and we love not having to drive unless we’re really exploring the rest of the island. The new lanai and bird feeder were wonderful additions. Overall just a warm, wonderful home base on the island we love.

One of only a few properties available in Paia. Our second trip here for kitesurfing. The wind did not cooperate this time, but we we enjoyed excursions to Hana, Make, and upcountry.

We had a wonderful stay at Paia Bay Suites. It's a quiet and peaceful location but you easily walk to the restaurants and shops in Paia. The views of the ocean and sunset from the rental are spectacular. We would definitely stay here again!

We definitely would stay here again. The apartment is a perfect size for 1-2 people and it has everything you could need. It’s decorated cute and is very clean. The location is fantastic — a 5 minute walk into town where there’s everything you need and a 5-7 minute drive to Hookipa where there’s a beautiful beach, surfing and turtle watching. The hosts were very good with communication and provided recommendations on a little chalk board that were spot on.

This property has a fantastic location! Within a short walk to Paia town and beaches. Yet, it is in a quiet neighborhood, removed from the noise and sometimes, chaos, in Paia. There is a beautiful view to Paia Bay and the ocean. The unit is well stocked with everything you will need. Especially the kitchen. The owners were so welcoming and very responsive to any inquiries. I would highly recommend this property!

My husband and I enjoyed our 2 week stay in this wonderful cottage. We spend lots of time on the deck in front of the cottage overlooking the ocean and surfers. 5 minute walk to the town of Paia and short drives to the snorkeling and beaches in Maui. We had everything we needed and more.

We had everything we needed in this sweet little condo. The view of the waves at Paia bay were fun to watch. It's an easy five minute walk to but far enough away to feel so peaceful. Everything was nice and clean and the property manager was very helpful and quick to respond to my questions.
