The chalet was beautiful, homey, and spacious. There were 2 bears sighted our first night! The drive is steep, so be careful if you go when it’s snowing or icy. The view from the hot tub was amazing! Mountains and all of Gatlinburg was visible. There isn’t a yard, but plenty to do with the home theater, pool table, and board games provided. We loved being so close to downtown. It can be noisy with a lot of people. You can hear people walking on the floor above you or showering on the floor below. The top floor and bottom floor showers do not get above lukewarm. Overall we had a wonderful stay. Easy check in process.

We really enjoyed our stay! We saw bears everyday below the decks. It was an amazing sight to see. The hot tub was very clean and nice, all 3 decks were amazing and the view was awesome! The pool table was an absolute hit and lots of memories were made around it. The kitchen was decently stocked with needed items. You will need to bring a few cleaning things with you (liquid hand soap, dish washing pods (they gave 3)) the beds were comfortable and clean and the bedrooms were a decent size. We had 12 people in our group and the cabin was plenty big for all of us. Draw back: the ceiling was leaking in the kitchen/dining room area. I called management and they said they would send someone and no one ever came. It seemed to be leaking from the toilet water line that supplies water to the toilet. By the looks of it, it seemed to have been an on going problem. Also, parking. We fit 3 cars (a minivan, a jeep and a small suv) VERY tight!!!!! But overall we were very happy with our stay! We would stay here again.

We had a great time on our vacation. Let's me begin with the cleanliness of the cabin. It was horrible. The dust was so thick on the bathroom cabinets you could see your finger prints. There was 2 pizza boxes in the oven that was there for a very long time. So long the the box on the bottom box was so moldy that the box was falling apart! It was so disgusting that we didn't use the oven. There was beer bottles and tops on the floor. The floor was so dirty that we had to leave shoes on the little ones or their feet would turn black. The hot tub was leaking on the porch below and in the kitchen and downstairs bedroom there were also leaks to the point we had to put bowls on the floor. The door was NOT locked when we arrived. There was trash already in the trash can upon arrival as well. After we cleaned up we enjoyed our stay.

All three bath/showers were dirty as in, have not been scrubbed clean in a while. After buying some cleaning supplies we were able to bathe. The main floor bath still has dirty towels hanging on the back of the door. Dishes were adequate but silverware had food still on them and the one pan we used had eggs still stuck to it. Again, after some cleaning we were able to use them. We decided to buy plastic ware and paper plates and not cook as we didn’t want to wash dishes before and after every meal. As far as beds, there were enough for all of us. However, plan to have a few rough nights. The bed my wife and I slept in had a hump in the middle and was the hardest mattress I’ve ever slept on. This is saying some this as I camp frequently and sleep on the ground. Ha. Location was great to get to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. Overall it was decent but I won’t be renting again.

We enjoyed our stay with each other - but not the home. We don’t think it’s been cleaned in a long time. Ceiling was falling when we first walked - piece of it was laying on dining table. Cobwebs everywhere- showers n floors were dirty - sheets n blankets downstairs had mold n mildew on them. One of the bedrooms upstairs where we were going to sleep - bed had never been washed and changed - had hair and popcorn in it. We have been making family trips to Pigeon Forge n Gatlinburg for the ast 15 years and this is the first time we had a bad review to leave. I hate leaving one - but things need to be highly done with the cleaning n care of this cabin. But, we enjoyed having our family time
