Wonderful Log Cabin with Gorgeous views. Very Clean House had plenty of room/privacy for 8 of us. Was full of many amenities including games/puzzles & the typical linens & all kitchen dishes/pots & pans etc. Perfectly located 1/2 way up the shore. Centrally located to many parks. We loved our stay!

This is a perfect spot for trails and state parks. Deck is gorgeous. Just remember to bring some bug spray. Home has everything you would have in your own kitchen. Beautiful view of Lake Superior.

This home on the beautiful North Shore is everything you will ever want for a wonderful trip with family and/or friends. Great location to visit the hidden gems of Caribou and Illgen Falls. Just a 30 minute drive to Lutsen to visit the winery to take in outdoor music or visit another hidden gem we discovered, Sugarloaf Cove. Staying in this property has been a yearly tradition that I share with family and friends. We have already booked this property for 2024 and are so excited to return!!

We loved our stay at the High Brow. The property rests on a beautiful cliff overlooking the lake with tons of amazing hiking trails in the area. Upon our arrival the kitchen floors were a bit sticky in a couple areas but really no big deal. Easy to clean up. Within about 30 minutes of being there my throat started to get a bit itchy and I knew something was up. Just a bit after that, my husband found a cat toy in the cushion of the chair. Unfortunately, my cat allergies took over. Fortunately we were able to be outside a bunch which helped. Overall, this place was perfect! Tons of games, firepit, tons of space. Almost NOTHING to do upon leaving- owners really just let you enjoy your stay. But just a heads up to those with cat allergies.

Warm and cozy cabin in a beautiful location. Close to many activities(hiking/skiing/winery) but ended up spending a lot of our time just relaxing and hanging out at the cabin. Plenty of room for 5 adults to spread out. And the sauna was a definite plus. Owner was great and very responsive. One of the best rentals we've ever stayed at. Highly recommend.

Excellent place to stay - views are spectacular and the accommodations are super nice. Plenty of space for everyone and the kitchen is well stocked for making your own meals. Close proximity to all our favorite hiking trails and activities. Stayed here multiple times and look forward to it each time!

We've stayed at a lot of places on Lake Superior over the years and this cabin is definitely one of our favorites. The deck offers a beautiful view of the lake. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to make great meals while our friends relaxed by a fire in the main room, which was really cozy. We were close to tons of places to go on hikes and when we did have a question about anything, we texted the owners and they got right back to us. If there were more than five stars to give, we'd give more. :)

From the time we arrived, everything was as promised. The bedrooms were perfect with comfortable beds and plenty of room. The kitchen was well-equipped with cookware, spices and anything else we might want or need. We all enjoyed the fire pit on our last night and even had a sing-along. Some of us used the sauna. Thanks for sharing your place with us!

Highbrow is a peaceful and beautiful home located right on the edge of Lake Superior and close to State Parks and the SHT. Bird watching and star gazing are incredible! The kitchen is very well stocked. We look forward to our next adventure here!

We already love the North Shore but this cabin made a special trip even better. Great location to the big parks, a little drive north the Grand Marias. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The owner was great at communicating all of the little details to make our stay easy and relaxing. We'll be back.

This cabin offers a fantastic view of the lake and comfortable accommodations close to many north shore activities. Excellent communications from its owner to help with a locked door to the screened in porch! Would definitely go back!

What we had of the lake view and the dozens of humming birds were wonderful. The cabin itself is beautiful, however, the cleanliness is awful. The place needs a deep cleaning - I paid a lot of money to stay there and ended up having to be a cleaning lady. Had to clean the areas we used because they were filthy. The first night we were there we discovered the bed sheets had not been changed so had to launder them, (after cleaning stones and gunk out of the washing machine) before going to bed. That was the tip of the iceberg. I took pictures so there would be no accusing us of what we found. We will not be going back there. The owner refunded us 1 night.

The cabin is situated on a beautiful cliff along the North Shore of Lake Superior. Excellent location to experience the beauty of the area. We hiked Tettagouche State Park, Temperance State Park, Caribou Falls, and visited the winery in Lutsen 3 times. Highly recommend to anyone that wants the serenity of the North Shore but close enough to all of the beauty that it offers.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at your amazing cabin! Right on Lake Superior, the sunrises were gorgeous. And the stars at night were amazing as well. I even got several pictures of the Milky Way, right from the balcony! The cabin was clean, well supplied, and has plenty of room to spread out. Thank you for sharing your place with the world!

This is a gorgeous cabin with an equally stunning view. Everything was clean, the kitchen was so well equipped (even a stand mixer!), and the outdoor amenities, from the deck to the fire pit, were perfect for relaxing. This was a great spot for a group of friends, with comfortable common spaces and bedrooms on different levels that offered privacy, too. The owners were responsive and welcoming in all their communications. Would absolutely stay here again. Wonderful!

Two adult females (60 somethings) and little dog stayed here for a week. This home and the views are outstanding! This place provides peace, tranquility ...a perfect retreat. It was just what we were looking for. The dog felt right at home and was very well provided for by the owners! Normally he is scared of a different environment but not here. Although he is a lap dog and brings his own quilts, they even provided a blanket for him! Thank you for allowing us to stay in your amazing home!

Wonderful location, spectacular views, quiet and very relaxing. The cabin itself is beautiful and spacious for my family - 5 adults , 1 baby and 4 dogs 😊. Loved the dvd selection, outdoor games and fire pit, watching the eagles, and had visits from Canadian Geese. Will rent again!

We have been coming here for several years, and it's great every time! The weather was cold, foggy, and rainy this stay, so we weren't able to enjoy our usual experiences--hikes, campfires, or relaxing on the deck. It was still a nice getaway with the quiet location and enough space and activities to spend time indoors (puzzles, games, sauna, reading, and movies). We really feel "at home" staying here.

We were there for 3 days of cold, rainy, and windy weather and still had a wonderful time. This is a lovely spot with great views. The house itself is warm and inviting and one of the best equipped vacation rentals I've stayed in.
