Perfect spot to stay and enjoy Oceanside. The corner market and garage parking were unanticipated necessities. Highly recommend! Loved the balcony seating with partial ocean views.

Our stay was fine but the furniture in the bedroom was a bit flimsy. It was chilly at night and the heater didn’t work and the bed had no blanket on it and no extra blanket. The location was good and having a garage was great.

5 stars because it is exactly what it says & owner is great to work with! Just want to note a few things. Laney is very responsive and communicative via text. We noted a couple of small issues for which she already had plans for repairs. She also had a ring camera installed by the back gate during our stay, which combined with the keypad-access gates helped us feel safe and secure. Neighborhood is fine, just close to the strand. Does have ocean views! It’s a few blocks from the beach itself. Nice to have the natural white noise of the ocean at night, though the nearby train also provides a soundtrack (this is noted in listing and didn’t disturb my children at all). Totally adequate for our needs/budget, it is no-frills. Glad we brought extra beach towels, as there are 6 provided and w/ no dryer in unit, probably wouldn’t have been dry for our 2nd beach trip. Beds and pillows were fine, just firm. Kept our meals simple and did not do much cooking, which was good because the pots and pans were more worn than I prefer. I missed in listing that beach equipment is not provided by owner (though I asked and was fully informed before stay). Past renters have left behind some items which we used and appreciated. At the time of our stay (Oct 2023), there were sand toys, 2 functional but rusty chairs, an umbrella, and a couple of old boogie boards. We brought our own boards, too. Overall a good stay and would recommend!

The property was exactly as advertised. It was easy to access and because it was on the second floor had a nice cross breeze from the ocean even though there’s no AC. There are also fans in the unit to help air flow. The rental also comes with private access to a 2 car garage which was convenient for parking and also to store our stroller and beach gear during our stay. It’s not a bad walk down to the main beach area and pier (but not right out the front door which is with noting) we ended up driving each day and parking was reasonable. We had one small issue that needed to be addressed (the front key-lock pad battery was dying) and the host was communicative and quickly had the battery swapped out. Would definitely stay again.

The upper unit we stayed in was generally nice, though the shower glass needs a little maintenance and the lack of AC made things pretty uncomfortable in the afternoon. As I have said though, its location was close to ideal, and the unit was basically well kept.

Rented all 4 units; front cottage and three additional off back courtyard Cottages were great for our purposes. They’re very well equipped with everything you’ll need for beach and cooking. Little kids could safely play in enclosed courtyard while adults sat at the outdoor table to converse.

Loved the amount of space - true apartment living instead of crammed feeling of hotels. Sitting on the deck with a small ocean view, breeze, sound of birds and city life, was very relaxing. Literally a block from the beach walk and easy access to the sand was a plus. We aren't into swimming and sitting on the sand, but love to be close enough to smell the ocean, see the waves, and watch the wildlife. The beach walk had wonderful views and many places to sit. So many restaurants just a couple of blocks away. Easy access to the freeways, Route 101 or the Coast Highway. Already planning to book again for next year. Even has a garage available on the property so you don't have to worry about your car.

We loved our stay at the Myer St. Beach property. It was super clean and a great location! The property managers were very attentive and helpful. We didn’t have a pet, but you would never know that is was a pet friendly property because of the cleanliness. Definitely would recommend.

This was a great place for us to spend some of the kids spring break. Only 15 minutes from Legoland and a relatively short drive to the San Diego area as well. The property was well appointed with everything we needed and the closeness to the ocean and view was great. Owner was very communicative and a great host. Will definitely seek to use again when we return to the area.

This is a really nice little condo that is just minutes from the water. The house is extremely clean and well taken care of. All of the cooking pots and pans you will need are in the house, but the house is missing skillet which would be nice. If you are going with multiple families this would be a really fun place to all stay since there are 3 condos all in the same area all gated. Area is very quiet and the neighbors we talked to were all very nice. You also get a garage that has parking for two cars. One thing to note is the garage will not fit a full size truck/suburban so if this is your vehicle you will have to park on the curb which we did and no issues. A few things to note: The TV has cable, but a very simple plan - no ESPN or other channels that you would typically have. Take your won pillows. The beach that is minutes from this condo is really rocky. The beach area where you can actually play in the water is about a 15 minute walk. There is a Walmart that is 10 minute drive. Riteaid is a 5 minute drive. Plenty of really good places to eat. I recommend Fat Joes over everything else. Host is very nice and was easy to reach. Will stay here again if in the area.

Overall our stay was nice. Close t the beach. Walking distance to many things. Unfortunately, there were garbage pickers in the middle of the night and cars burning rubber at 3 a.m. No fault to the owner though. Our place was adequate for our stay . Pet friendly but we decided not to bring him. Overall a nice place.

We took a quick trip to the beach, and stayed here with two adults and 3 kids (7,7, and 5). The property was clean, updated, and well stocked. Having a garage was a plus. Very satisfied and would recommend. Only suggestion, since every unit seemed to be occupied with young kids, would be to have some board games or something. We flew in so we were limited on what we could bring, so monopoly or sorry would have been a nice treat. Definitely not the owners job to supply, just saying some simple family activities would have been a nice surprise.

Our family rented all four units at The Myers Beach House for 4 nights. We were in town for our nephew's wedding. Each unit was delightful to stay in. Clean, fun, beachy decor, spacious, with a very private feel. Walking distance to the main town action but away from the crowds. We all loved it!

Cute little second-floor two bedroom condo, definitely in need of a good deep cleaning some new osculating fans and some new window blinds. Very well stocked kitchen and linens. All the beds were very comfortable. Warning this little condo can get very hot in the heat of summer.
