About this house rental
Located in Keystone, this lovely house for $178 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. If you're looking for a hug of a home in a versatile location, welcome! We offer discounts for week and month long stays! Nestled in Summit Cove, this home features a freshly painted interior and new hot tub! Our home offers a main floor primary bedroom (King), 2nd floor guest suite (Queen), and second floor bedroom featuring a queen size bed and a built in, lofted full size bed. There are full baths on both floors. We have a recliner couch that can comfortably sleep one or two as well as a pack and play for the little ones. A high chair and baby gate are also available. All new area rugs, comfortable linens, newer mattresses, updated and fully loaded kitchen, HUGE deck, gas burning stove for chilly mountain nights, hot tub for soaking sore ski legs... Please note that because the home is an A-frame, the stairs to the second floor are a bit steep. Most guests do not have issue navigating them but if you have bad knees or other mobility issues let's discuss before you book. While we are dog friendly (additional nightly fee applies), dogs are absolutely not allowed on any furniture or in any beds. We also ask that if your dog sheds you run the vacuum before you leave. And don't forget to pick up after your pet! To book for fewer than the 4 night minimum, message the owner.

I wish I could say I had a decent experience, but after the host blatantly accused me of breaking a table and refused to give details or pics I'm forced to share what she's really like.
- My first impression was walking up to the front door and not being able to open it with the electronic lock. When I called the host she said to "jiggle it the right way" and "just figure it out". Then the door sticks so bad it only opens half way.
- Blinds are completely see-through. Yes, the bathrooms too.
- Stove markings are all scratched off so you don't know which burner you're using or how high.
- One of the windows was stuck open, letting cold air in (in January). She accused me of breaking this too. Why would I try to open a window in January???
- Lots of crumbs and pet hair in couch cushions
- Probably the greatest problem was the staircase hand rail is extremely loose, so loose that I told my kids to not even touch it. If you slipped on the stairs and grabbed the rail it would probably break off and you'd fall through. I can see where several "attempts" were made at repairing with extra screws and shims, very poor job.
I'm a residential real estate investor by profession, so these are issues I see on a daily basis and I also know they aren't just "quirks and idiosyncrasies of the home" (as she's said in other reviews). They can be fixed easily by a qualified person.

We spent five days skiing at Keystone and loved coming home to this cozy A-frame. Only 10 minutes from the slopes, well stocked, and comfortable for our family of four and our dog.
Owner was very responsive and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved the property! It was perfect for us. Clean and rustic. I have stayed at many VRBO properties and this one was the best equipped. Great location and quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed coming “home” to it at the end of our exploring every day. Would absolutely stay again.

Great property for a mountain getaway with family. The heating was a little confusing but we figured it out. Also, the front door sticks. May sure you pull towards you when you input the code, otherwise it wont unlock. Other than that, great place!

Our little family stayed for five days this August. Very family friendly! Loved seeing the KC decor, reminded us of home! Provided dog teather was very nice to have, and we used it throughout the stay. The hiking trail behind the house is so nice to have for a short walk after dinner. The tub and downstairs bathroom is huge. Upstairs bedrooms and bathroom were clean and functional. The stairs are a bit creaky, but our toddler loved going up and down the stairs anyway! Kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, plates, cutlery, utensils, staple pantry, and appliances. The hammock and huge front deck was our favorite part. We spent many afternoons playing and relaxing there. Would absolutely stay here again!

The house was clean and comfortable with a beautiful view from the front porch. The neighborhood was quiet and not far from several towns. Perfect location to relax after a day full of activities.

This home is very quaint. One bedroom downstairs with a full bath and the other two are upstairs. The kitchen is well equipped with all the tools, pans, and spices you will need during your stay.
The tub is such a treat! We also enjoyed our time in the hot tub viewing the stars.
The location is so close to Frisco and Breckinridge.

Our family stayed for a few nights and it was a cozy stay that met our expectations. A few things to note: there were no tissues and not enough extra towels for all of us, and the fumes from the gas furnace were a bit overwhelming at times. The upstairs rooms get fairly hot, the windows have no screens, and the upstairs bathroom is a tight squeeze. The kitchen sink has a leaking issue and the hot tub does not get hot—it is stuck at about 94°F. Overall, the place needs a few updates, but it was quaint, cozy, and close to as-described. We enjoyed our stay!

Tiny claustrophobic bedrooms with small windows, especially upstairs.
Shower downstairs didn’t drain so we couldn’t use it.
Front door sticks, and won’t open completely makes it extremely difficult to load in.

Hot tub was a hit after a few long days of skiing, and it had everything we needed for our large group.

We loved the property and will book again! It was cozy and well appointed with tasteful vintage decor. Appliances and bathroom were modern. The heat worked well. Location is fabulous. We didn’t get a chance to use the hot tub.

House was clean and in the valley which is great considering all of Dillon and keystone was under 4 ft of snow before we arrived. It’s a busy but very accessible neighborhood very close to keystone resort which is why we chose it. The house has its quirks like they all do but that just gives it character . He had temps in the double digit negatives and it never got cold inside. We will probably come back next year if it’s still available. We brought our pup and she enjoyed laying in her crate staring out the sliding glass doors and neighborhood watching while we went to the slopes. Hot tub def helped the sore muscles . All in all we would stay again. Thanks for having us.

Great little A frame....centrally located and super clean when we arrived. Beds were very comfy and the best part was our four legged friend could come. Kids loved the hot tub. Floors upstairs super creaky and loud when they were walking around but kids enjoyed their own bunk rooms upstairs. Virginia was super responsive with little questions I had....everything was pretty straightforward with detailed instructions. The only thing I would add would be some blankets to snuggle with on the couch. Great place; thanks for sharing it with us.

Such a great stay here! We were in town to ski and it is super close to keystone and breck. Only 35-40 mins to Vail as well. Overall had a great experience, hot tub was an amazing bonus here too!

Cute property, but the neglect is beginning to show. Some repairs to a few things would make the space feel cleaner and more comfortable. A tv is being held together by a clothes hanger hook and propped up by a pillow on one side as an example.

My family and I stayed on this property for 4 days and the location was good (close to Keystone and Breck). One of the reasons to choose this house is because is pet friendly and part of their policies is that pet cannot be on couches and beds but we found dog/cat hair all over the place.. I am not sure if there is no a clean check by the host but the house had dust and hair every where… We spoke with Virginia and she offered to send her cleaning crew again but my family cleaned the place a little bit to spend those days there… We were really upset since we paid for a cleaning fee and we expected that property is cleaned…

My husband and I took our 18 & 16 year old sons and our dog for a 3-night getaway for skiing/snowboarding and quality family time…and this place did not disappoint! The cabin was spacious and clean and it was close to Keystone, which was perfect for us. Our dog loved laying on the dog bed in the afternoon sunshine and we all enjoyed the hot tub…it was perfect. We can’t wait to rent this cabin again for our next snowboarding trip.

This place was amazing. Perfect location for us to get to Dillon, Breckinridge, or keystone very easily. The check in process was incredibly easy. The property had amazing views and had a cute neighborhood area complete with a coffee shop, pizza place, and a nice bar. Can’t wait to book here again!

We stayed for 3 nights and it was so relaxing. Close enough to several towns and outdoor recreational opportunities, so there was always something to do, but it was tucked away in a quiet neighborhood to escape the crowds of town.

This house was wonderful. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, clean hot tub and all in a wonderful neighborhood. We had a short weekend stay but we had a great time. Kids dove into the Trouble retro game, and it was ON! I have not played that since I was kid. We had a great time and the local pizza place down the street was excellent thin crust pizza. Thanks for a great stay!

This was the perfect place. The house was very clean. Checkin was a breeze. Host very easy to get a hold of. Loved sitting in the hot tub at night under all the stars. Dogs loved running around the back yard. Close to town, but far enough away that you didn’t have noise pollution. Would definitely recommend this to everyone. If we go back to Dillon we would rent again.

The neighborhood was great, the property was nice.. could use some updated items. All pots and pans the food would stick, so spent a lot of time trying to clean them. The stove did not work great. The guy came at 8:15 am to clean the hot tub. Check out isn't until 11am. I had just gotten out of the shower, the blinds are see through so I am pretty I was seen getting out of the shower. If check out isn't until 11am I feel that they came to early to take care of the hot tub, especially if we wanted to get in before leaving. Other than that, was nice. The bed in the master was very comfortable.

Very nice A-Frame with unique layout and plenty of space. My family of 5 had such a great time in and around this place. The house was a great size for 2 adults and 3 smaller children. It was just like the pictures showed and very close to nice hikes and enough places to eat.

We stayed in Dillon to see a concert at the amphitheater. House was well stocked and very cute but needed a good cleaning. Lots of dog hair on the first level so I vacuumed & swept but the vacuum wasn't working well so it didn't help much. Only reason not leaving 5 stars is the amount of dog hair and dirty grill. I think having the cleaning crew do a better job would make this place great and the cost is a deal for Summit County.

Run down A frame in a residential area. Like a lot of other reviews stated rugs smelled, stairs are steep and had to be traversed sideways. Hot tub was clean and working but was just off the master and the deck was tiny to get in/out. Cabinet door in the kitchen just fell off when opened. When we arrived the grass and weeds in the front and back were over a foot tall. A mowing service came during the stay and did mow them down. Deck in front was nice and big.

The cabin met our every need. We were looking for a simple home from which we could launch hiking, biking and fly fishing adventures. Everything was very close. After long days out we enjoyed our evenings there and greatly appreciated the hot tub. We have already recommended the place to friends!

We enjoyed a family stay at this cozy cabin for a weekend getaway. Has everything you need.
However, the garbage disposal did not work which meant the sink was clogged. Made for some challenges in the kitchen.
The house could use a few basic upgrades, like flooring in the bathroom upstairs and a light outside by the hot tub.
