Pet Perfect\/People Friendly Sea Pines Home - Walk to the Beach and Pool!
About this house rental
Situated in Hilton Head Island, this lovely house for $387 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. The exterior of “Just imagine” is similar to every Night Heron bungalow. But once inside you'll experience the floor-to-ceiling differences that will make your vacation truly memorable This home has been renovated or remodeled throughout. The central living area features a new Spanish tile floor with mosaic insets and all new custom made John Thomas hardwood furniture. The sofa/pull out queen bed and the love seat are also new. Both bedrooms have real three-quarter inch Hickory flooring and both have been expanded. The master bedroom offers a deluxe king sized bed as well as a walk-in closet. There’s also a new queen bed in the guest room. Likewise both bathrooms are completely new. The master bath is typical of what you would find in a five-star hotel. From the extra large shower with multiple shower heads and custom made door to the equally spacious soaking tub, it is elegant in every respect. The guest bathroom, though smaller, is equally first class. With high-end tile and granite throughout it is typical of what you would find in an Italian Villa. A highlight of the living area is the granite counter top contoured to provide the greatest possible work area within a small space. With all new stainless steel appliances the design of this galley kitchen makes it possible to prepare meals while standing in one spot. Additionally the chef is not excluded from social activities or entertainment. The new dining table expands to seat six. No amenity has been overlooked. There is a 50-inch Sony flat screen TV in the living room and a 42-inch wall-mounted Samsung flat screen in the master bedroom. Additionally you’ll experience true high-speed Internet and extensive cable options. The innovative washer/dryer combination is also a unique convenience. Significantly as part of the remodeling process the lighting throughout the home has been dramatically improved. Every room has new dimmable LED lighting and the living room skylight has been doubled in size. This is an important consideration given that Night Heron homes are situated amid a forest. It provides lots of shade after the beach or pool but not much in the way of light. We are confident that with this extensive remodeling “Just Imagine” will provide you (and any furry friends) a first class vacation experience on Hilton Head Island that will bring you back each year.

The neighborhood is in a great location in Sea Pines. Unfortunately this unit needs some attention. We were not expecting luxury accommodations, but it was not clean. The floors were dirty (sandy and made your socks black when you walked across it). The furniture covers were already covered in dog hair when we arrived. We chose not to cook anything as the kitchen appliances/cook ware were questionable. Air conditioner routinely reset itself to 74 degrees even though it was never set below 72 degrees as requested by the management company. We most likely would not choose to stay here again.

We loved the house! It was beautiful and I appreciated the furniture covers. Inside was nice and clean. Instructions were very clear and easy to find as were brochures for local restaurants and attractions. The beach was a nice little 5ish minute walk from the house so that was a huge plus. Management also provided a few garbage bags, dishwasher pods, and laundry soap which was really nice. The only issue we had was no fault of the management, but I think there’s tourists not cleaning up after their dogs outside, as I was regularly cleaning up the yard each morning. Overall we had a wonderful stay, we would definitely return!

We enjoyed our stay at this property. We had a hiccup checking-in as the room was not cleaned, but made the best of it going to the grocery and picking up pizza at the Mellow Mushroom (right next to Harris Teeter). The property owner was responsive and actually showed their concern by offering a credit due to our inconvenience. The house was perfect for my wife and I along with our 2 dogs. The dog friendly beach is only a 10 minute walk and there are plenty of restaurants and shops in the area. Night Heron is a quiet neighborhood with plenty of dog owners. We hope to stay there again.

My husband & I brought our 12 yr. old grandson to this beach house for the week. We were happy to find this little bungalow had all the things we needed, to make our stay enjoyable. We rode bicycles to the beach every morning & took longer rides to South Beach, Harbor Town or Coligny Plaza later in day. The house was well suited for our lifestyle! We used the screened in porch for crafting. The pool was always welcoming, after our mid- morning beach time. We really appreciated the prompt response of the owners & management team to any questions or concerns. Thanks for making our stay so memorable!

We love Night Heron
This was our second time staying in Night Heron. We love the privacy and the cute decor in the places we’ve stayed. It’s close to the beach and not far from any of our favorite places. Would definitely recommend staying here.

We’ve stayed here twice, first time with friends and second time as a family with an infant over the last two years. First we love Sea Pines, and this location to beach can’t be beat. And the ability to bring our dog is huge! The accommodations and amenities are simple and functional. We will continue to stay here as it meets our needs!
If I had one criticism I’d like to see some upgrades in the kitchenware and small appliances especially if eating most meals at the house. But to be fair, I am a kitchen snot and we often eat out so it works fine - just be sure to bring storage containers for leftovers/packing beach snacks.
Last property manager is very responsive! I would recommend this place for sure!

Poorly cleaned. Dust everywhere. Second week we stayed we kept finding cockroaches. The property manager eventually sent pest control and the cleaning service back after multiple complaints. Pots and pans have seen better days. Sheets were clean. Skylight in master bedroom had me awake at 6am everyday.

Great location
This was our first time to Hilton Head and we will certainly be back. We found the house to be ok. It was not as clean as we had expected. There was dog hair under the beds and the kitchen area was quite small. To accommodate the washer and dryer a closet in the second bedroom closet was eliminated. On the plus side, it was only a 10 minute walk to the beach that was beautiful with plenty of space to walk and the screened porch was lovely. We wI’ll definitely be back.

Convenient location. Loved the private setting and quietness of the neighborhood. The house was well furnished with everything we needed. Cleanliness would’ve gotten 5 stars but the plantation shutters were pretty dusty and the baseboard in the guest bathroom was dirty. There was also dog hairs on the porch ottoman. Otherwise very clean.

Cute cottage in Lovely foliage
The cottage was really cute and close to everything so we could ride our bikes everywhere. I must say I felt a little closed in without big windows. We usually
have a view when we are at the beach.
The reason we choose this was because it was inexpensive but after they added the owner’s fee, vrbo fee and cleaning fee we could have stayed a more expensive place. They should just include all of that in the nightly place so it would not come as a shock. It made me feel like I wasn’t told the truth upfront.

First Time in Hilton Head Island
Location was great! Easy access to beach, our friends who stayed on Duck Hawk and to Harbour Town. Shops, restaurants and convenient stores were in close proximity.

Beautiful, secluded and close to the beach!
This rental is in an absolutely gorgeous area of Sea Pines just a 5 minute walk from the beach. The house was clean and spacious and felt like a jungle bungalow nestled amongst all the trees and foliage. I would definitely recommend it for a family of 4 looking to stay on the island! Very nice!

Stay here! You won’t be disappointed.
I’ll start with, as a first time visitor to Hilton Head, I was amazed at how beautiful it is. Our dog LOVED running on the beach, which is about a 10 minute walk or a quick bike ride. The property is located on a street surrounded by beautiful trees. My daughter, and her friend, hung hammocks between the trees and loved spending time outside. The property itself was wonderful. It looks in person like it does in the photos. I had everything I needed for our stay. I was worried about palmetto bugs, but we only saw two dead ones so that was a win for me. Jim and Margo made getting into the unit seamless and they were so easy to work with. My only suggestion would be to wash the covers used to protect the furniture from pets between visitors. They were plentiful with fur and my husband, who’s allergic, began sneezing as soon as he sat down on the covers, so we laundered them. Other than that, our stay was magical.

Short Getaway
First time staying in a bungalow in Night Herron. Loved that home was pet friendly & located in Sea Pines. Home was clean & had nice furniture. We saw no evidence of any bugs (cockroaches, spiders, etc.) in the home during our 4 night stay. King sized bed in Master Bedroom was very comfortable. Kitchen appliances are outdated & cookware (pots, pans & baking pans) is minimal & old. Upon arrival, discovered that flapper on toilet in bedroom 2 was leaking & hydraulic cylinder on front storm door was broken off & laying on the window sill. Turned off the water to the toilet, so that the toilet would not keep turning on to fill up the drained tank. Immediately texted Property Manager to inform him of the minor issues. Property Manager responded to text in approx. 12 hours. Advised that he would have issues repaired as soon as possible. Issues were non-essential, but were still outstanding when we departed the home 4 days later. Property Management company requires clients to purchase a day pass to access Sea Pines upon arrival, but have a pass in the home for the remainder of the stay. Based on multiple past experiences with renting homes in Sea Pines, this is not a standard practice. Most management companies mail the plantation access pass in advance or have a process in place for clients to pick up their pass prior to entering the Sea Pines plantation.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Definitely need a bike or cart to carry stuff to beach. Only complaint was the heat. The property was very clean, comfortable, and fun for us and our two teenagers.
