A warm, well decorated apartment, comfortable and with all the commodities. We had a good communication with Antoine.

We feel lucky to have found Antoine’s apartment! The apartment itself is incredibly charming, clearly a living space filled with thoughtful artifacts collected and enjoyed. The interior space makes one feel as if they are living as a Parisian briefly. The Neighborhood is one of the best in Paris for easy access to fantastic restaurants and shops (around the corner is my favorite street in Paris for its pedestrian pathways amidst endless great restaurants, boy heroes, boulangeries, patisseries… you name it! In addition, it’s easily walkable to many of the Paris sights to see and easy to grab rentable electronic bikes for locations a bit further.
Finally Antoine couldn’t have been a better host. He met us upon arrival and even helped us with our bags. He is thoughtful and easy going. We definitely plan to stay here again! Highly recommend!

The property was perfect, Good food and groceries in neighborhood and 15 min walk to everywhere. Owner was very helpful. The upstairs bathroom not available when owner has office hours but not much of an issue. The unit up two long flights of stairs, so suitcases are a bit of a challenge. Overall great property!!

We loved the apartment! There was plenty of room for five adults and the neighborhood was perfect. A fully stocked kitchen was available but who needs to cook when you can walk two blocks to Rue Montorgrueil with so many cafe/restaurant options. The apartment was walking distance to many sites (Louvre, Palais Royal, shopping at Les Halles) and very short walk (2 blocks) for the metro for longer treks. Antoine was easy to communicate with before our stay and was great with check in/out. We would absolutely stay here again!

We just got home from a wonderful stay at Bonne Nouvelle! Could not have asked for a better place to stay in terms of accommodations, location and Antoine the owner of the apartment. We traveled with our adult children. I would not recommend the apartment for families with young children as there are some steep stairs in the apartment and getting up to the apartment. The apartment was well equipped with everything we could possibly need. Antoine, the owner of the apartment, was so welcoming and helpful! The location of the apartment was so perfect. You can literally walk out the door and have all sorts of restaurants and shopping, as well as Metro options to get around town.

We did Christmas with the teen+ kids and a couple of their friends. Its well-equipped and the host was charming and very responsive, as was the cleaner.

The apartment is located in the very best location for our group of 4. Everything you could possibly want, or even did not realize you wanted is almost on your door step. Very comfortable beds, great shower, full kitchen, big dining table for dining or playing cards. Lots of leisure seating

This was a trip to Paris with my 2 adult daughters. My daughters have never been to Paris, so I wanted them to experience the city. I found this flat in the 2nd near the Metro, Le Halles, Rue Montegruiel. Location was great, easy access to transportation and walking. Many good restaurants in walking distance.
The flat was perfect. Roomy and well appointed. The pictures are a little out of date. But nothing fundamentally different. Different sofa, upgraded bed in one of the bedrooms. Beds were comfortable, the bathroom shower and sinks very modern. There is a toilet downstairs and upstairs, they are separate from the main bath. During the day the owner closes the upstairs toilet during his office hours. This was not an issue for us as we were out and about during the day. In the evening and overnight both toilets are available.
Owner was very accommodating to our arrival time. He explained everything about the flat and gave us recommendations for restaurants and shopping.
Owner was available via text during our stay for any questions we had.
Definitely recommend this location and especially the owner. Looking forward to returning!❤️

We had a wonderful week long visit in this exceptional apartment. There we four of us: one couple and two singles. The arrangements were perfect and having the large living space on the first floor of the apartment was great for gathering before and after our daily treks. One thing is that there is a trundle bed (which I liked better) in the bedroom that shows a futon on the floor. That photo online should be updated. Otherwise, everything was as described.
The two flights up to the apartment were what I would call easy compared to some Paris apartments I have been in, meaning they seemed to be a gradual climb rather that a steep climb. Anyway, we dd not fine them hard or too challenging.
One thing that could be included is a written list of any requirements or suggestions about the apartment.
We had a great stay and would choose this apartment again in the future.

Daughters and I stayed here for 2 weeks over year end holidays.
Excellent location; we walked to Notre Dame, the Louvre and numerous other tourist spots! Hundreds of places to eat within short walking distance and several supermarkets very close.
Apartment on 2nd floor with no elevator which was fine for us as we our goal was to walk everywhere over the holidays and take steps whenever possible, just something to be aware of.
Internet worked very well and shower and bath had hot water quickly: the items that mattered to us the most!!!!

We recently spent 8 nights in this lovely apartment. Communication with the owner was fantastic prior to, and at our arrival. This apartment was plenty big for our family of 6. Location was great- very close to several metro stops and a block away from a pedestrian street with many cafes and bakeries. Two grocery stores are within walking distance. Neighborhood was full of young 20/30 year olds out on the town, but apartment was very quiet. Only 20 minute walk to Louvre.

This clean and light-filled apartment is in an excellent location, around the corner from Rue Montorgueil and within easy walking distance of the Louvre, Ile de la Cite, and the Pompidou Center. One bedroom has a queen bed, the second has trundle beds, and the third has a loft bed over a desk. Plenty of linens were provided, and we were able to use the clothes washer and drying rack in the kitchen. The host is friendly, greeted us as planned, and explained everything we needed to know to use the apartment. We were surprised on arrival to learn that although the apartment has two toilets, one of them would be unavailable to us for portions of the day when the host was meeting with clients in his office, which is next to the apartment and reached by a separate entrance. Having only one toilet for eight people was a challenge some mornings. One of our kids did not want to sleep downstairs because there are a lot of masks and statues there, but she got used to them and even "named" one of the statues.

Thank you Antoine for allowing us to stay in your lovely vacation home! This is a beautiful house, comfortable and generously decorated. The home has everything a family needs while on vacation. The three bedrooms are private and spacious. The master bedroom faces a small private courtyard, and consequently it is very quiet - an oasis in the middle of Paris. Personally, I can’t imagine a better neighborhood. A short walk leads to a fantastic street full of shops and restaurants of all kinds. After walking in many different neighborhoods in Paris, we all agreed that "ours" was by far the best! It felt like a haven in the business of Paris, and it was a friendly area filled with nice people. If we were ever to return to Paris, we would hope very much to stay here again. I would strongly recommend staying here if you are looking for a clean, spacious apartment in a wonderful area with a genuinely warm host! - Crystal, Rob, Katrina, and Nathaniel

We stayed for a week during the winter break in this phenomenal property. The apartment is located in a quiet alley just a few steps away from restaurants, bakeries, grocery shops and Paris metro – which can take you ANYWHERE! Some museums and attractions are within walking distance as well (Notre Dame, Louvre, Pompidou, Le Palais Royal) – if you want to burn all the wine, cheese and croissants eaten during the stay.
The apartment is spacious and very well equipped, with dishwasher and washing machine (useful when packing light). The big living room is very inviting to enjoy a glass of wine after a long day walking around town. The cool décor flows throughout the living spaces and would always hold my attention thinking of the history behind each piece.
The communication with the owner prior and during our stay was flawless – Antoine was very helpful and accommodating, with precious suggestions of restaurants, bakeries, and shops. We will definitely visit again and recommend the experience. Thanks, Antoine!

We stayed with our three children (3, 6 and 14 years old) for one week in July in this apartment. The apartment is located in child friendly and quiet neighborhood and allows you to walk within 15 minutes to the major attractions such as the Notre Dame, Centre Pompidou or the Louvre.
The apartment has three large bedrooms (even large for North American standards) and all have a fan, which kept to rooms cool and comfortable when it was 36 degrees Celsius outside.
The kitchen had all the amenities that we needed to make full meals for dinner. A dishwasher and wash machine were also located in the kitchen, which is wonderful that we didn’t have to go to a separate laundry facility or launderette.
We enjoyed the close vicinity to the metro stations (closest two within a 3 minute walk) and Les Halles station from which the RER train takes you directly to Disneyland Paris. Our kids enjoyed the play area at the Nelson Mandela Parc by Les Halles (5 minute walk), which has two exceptional play areas: one for the younger children and one for teenagers. The play areas were safe, clean and the equipment was in excellent condition.
We were able to get fresh vegetables, fish, cheese, bread, wine and groceries at the stores / supermarket that are all within a few minutes’ walk from the apartment.
The communication prior to and during our stay was excellent, Antoine and Patricia (owners) were so helpful and provided us the information we needed to plan our stay and turn this into an amazing experience for our family.
We highly recommend this apartment for families with younger or older children that want to enjoy the Parisian lifestyle and great atmosphere the city has to offer.

Our family of 5 (dad, mom and 3 'kids' ages 17-21) stayed at this lovely rental for 10 nights. It is located on a rather quiet alley, but SO close to lively streets with groceries, bakeries, dining, bars, shopping! The location is great for sight seeing as well - easy walking distance to metro stations, and not a bad walk to many museums and attractions - the Louvre, Notre Dame, Pompedou...I couldn't have asked for better communication with the owner - Antoine was SO helpful, and accommodating! I would recommend this property! The three bedrooms are all on the second floor of the apartment - the five of us were very comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed for home cooked meals. The décor is very cool!... Thank you Antoine!

We stayed in the apartment for a week (with three kids) and had a wonderful time all around! The place is centrally located and well-appointed.

For our week in Paris we were looking for an apartment with space for four women where we wouldn't be tripping over suitcases and each other. Was this an incredible find! Not only did we have more than enough room, the space was beautifully decorated, had wi-fi, a great espresso maker, lots of dishes and stemware, etc. The location was outstanding with great neighborhood food shops a couple of blocks away, some very good restaurants not much further than that, plus it was within walking distance to the Louvre, the Seine and Notre Dame and so many more of the treasures of the city. Our genial hosts Antoine and Patricia met us when we arrived and gave us a quick rundown on the apartment and neighborhood. Patricia met us early on the morning we were to leave, walking us down to the street where our cab was to arrive and staying with us until we were safely off. I'd highly recommend it to my family and friends without hesitation.
