Great location, great property for young groups!

Very modern design, great open plan layout for a group and great location.

It wasn’t the cleanest on our arrival and we did a hoover and wipe around. Looks a little tired in some areas. Wouldn’t stop us booking again though. One shower also didn’t work.

Superb

Stayed this weekend for a weekend away with the girls for a special occasion was absolutely beautiful, brilliant location walking distance from the main centre defintley would book again had everything you needed in the rooms

The loud music downstairs but can't have the best of both worlds epically if you want to be right in the centre of the clubs the Internet wasn't really good the TV kept disconnecting

Very modern, the open plan kitchen/livingroom, lots of space. Had everything you needed to feel more at home.

Only thing was the floors were a bit sticky, could hear it while walking on the open plan kitchen and livingroom floors.

Great stay!

The apartment was great. It was a great size for our group of 17. Very modern and clean. It was easy to get into and the location was perfect for our group for going out. Despite some of the other reviews there was plenty of hot water to.go around.

There are a few bits of wear and tear obviously from catering large groups but nothing that effected us too much. If you are looking for a quiet stay then it's not for you as the bar downstairs was extremely loud. But it didn't bother us too much as we were there for a weekend of drinking and partying.

Disappointing

The location for this property was good, we weren't too far from bars and shopping which is great. The beds were comfortable and there were four showers which was great. There was also plenty of space for everyone staying.

I was very disappointed with my stay. I booked this property for my hen party and spent a long time planning the trip. initially everything seemed fine but over the weekend there were many small things that added up to a disappointing stay. First of all, the owner asked for a £500 deposit direct to them. This made me nervous, not because I thought we would damage the property, I knew my hens and I would look after it, but it is a lot of money and was not taken via booking.com so I was worried that I wouldn't get it back. I did receive this back promptly but I feel it should be taken via booking.com to give customers reassurance that it will be returned. The first night my hens and I had a quiet night in with food and a pamper session - this was spoiled by the horrendous noise coming from the cocktail bar below. One of my hens is pregnant and many of us have young children - the first night was to catch up on sleep so we could enjoy the next day, instead we were kept up until 4am by the noise below. Added to this, my bed smelt of mans cologne when I crawled into it and I had put my pregnant hen in the bed closest to the toilet as she needs to go often and her bed was broken. Needless to say we did not sleep well. The next morning we wanted to head out and I had to try three showers before any of them would run warm. This problem came and went throughout the entire stay - it wasn't always the same shower either so couldn't be avoided. The toilet seat in the upstairs bathroom doesn't fit the toilet and the shower over the bath doesn't work unless you continually hold down the button that switches it from bath to shower.

great location for a weekend going out as a group!

great space, big social areas, amazing location, lots of comfy beds tea and coffee and cleaning products included.

very loud music going on until 6am on the Saturday night. one of the downstairs showers wouldn’t run any hot water, only cold. no blind over the fire exit door in the back bedroom, which let light in very early and woke us up.

1) Noise - club downstairs was very noisy. Excessive noise until 02:30 on the Saturday night. Sunday night drilling 00:00-02:00. The owners had sent us an abrupt email prior to our stay about noise control which is comical given the noise coming from the cocktail place down stairs. We could hear all of the conversations, music, vibrating from bass. It was disgraceful and none of us got very much sleep because of it 2) Mouse - someone saw a mouse in the sitting room which came from a hole in the wall (Monday early hours) 3) Not enough toilet roll for guests 4)Key - 1 for the entire group meaning we all had to go back at the same time or people had to wait up for the entire group to get in 5) No dish washer tablets, only 2 bin bags for entire rubbish

Location, beds are quite comfy.

States online there is a balcony/patio, there isn’t one. The place wasn’t clean at all including lipstick on glasses, a full bin from the last customers, the oven was disgusting, there were hairs in the showers and it smelt as soon as you walked through the door. The host did offer to send house keeping round whilst we were there but this would have been an inconvenience and interrupted our holiday, this should’ve been done to a good standard before our arrival. When I messaged the host on the evening to inform them of all of this, they were very abrupt and rude and didn’t once apologise for the property not being clean.

great little hidden gem!

large property, modern, space for everyone to be comfortable and get ready. plenty of facilities including dishwasher! lovely place would stay again

located over a noisy bar - not a huge deal for us but could be for others. Floor wasn’t very clean, had to hoover when we got there. only on set of keys so group had to come home together.

Lovely stay in a great property and location.

The property was lovely and in a great location. Very clean and was like the pictures.

Not enough utensils to cook with and not enough toilet roll was provided for the amount of people staying (we had to ask for more and then buy some additional). There is also a club underneath / next door which was fine for a group of girls who were out / up late, but wouldn’t be ideal for a family of young children.

It was a brilliant space for our group, as there was 13 of us, and it was in such a great location, we couldn’t of asked for more

Nothing major at all, only one key so it was a bit of a faff when some of us wanted to go out to different places at different times. And, in the bedroom on the main floor, a curtain would be good over the fire exit door as the light from a property over the way was really bright it lit up the room.

On arrival there was no heating on in the property and windows were open leaving the apartment very cold as we stayed in January. The host was notified of this and apologised. There was a few damages already to the apartment which we notified the host of, overall the apartment could do with a fair bit of maintenance work. We stayed on a weekend and the music from the bar below the apartment is very loud. This went on till 2am on the Friday and did disturb some of the groups sleep. Luckily this wasn’t so much of an issue for us over the weekend as we were here to enjoy the nightlife.

spacious and brilliant facilities for what we needed.

when we arrived we noticed straight away, there was a broken kitchen tap, the first floor bedroom door handle was broke, there was a whole in the kitchen floor, a hole in by the kitchen door , two of the boys were in a bed in the first floor , first bed to your right and the beam above was leaking all night onto them while they sleeping!

Great location and facilities. Ideal for large groups and exactly what we needed. Easy check in and out. Communication great through booking.com.

Could be very noisy with the bar directly below - bass was loud! Property is getting a little dated now in comparison to photos.(still very clean though) One key for the property, would be nice to have two between a large group.

Amazing stay!

The property was gorgeous and well maintained. We had great communication with the owners about wifi, check in, deposits and making sure we got there ok. Would definitely stay here again! Tea bags, toilet roll, bedding, cutlery etc provided and all very clean!

The only negative would be the cocktail bar downstairs and their extremely loud music and the harsh baseline that vibrated the whole building. This was understandably worse in the downstairs bedroom but this is obviously no faults of the properties.

Fab place if you don’t need much sleep!

The size of the apartment was excellent for a large group of us without being cramped. Beds were comfy which was a bonus. Location is great in terms of being central and proximity to night life. Kitchen was fully equipped for us to prepare food & plenty of glasses.

The apartment is situated above a cocktail bar which looks quiet & innocent, however, played extremely loud music until 5am one night then 3am the next. This would’ve been fine should we have been out / up until that time. The host was apologetic and checked in on us after this was reported & I appreciate this isn’t a criticism of the apartment, rather just a note / something to consider depending on your booking.
