Enter at the middle level where there is comfortable seating for 6 in the living room adjoined by the dining room and kitchen with cherry cabinetry. Enjoy the views of Mt. LeConte through the 20 foot wall of glass with vaulted ceilings and exposed beams while relaxing in front of the gas fireplace or gathering at the dining room table with friends and family. There is a middle level suite with king sized bed, full bath, Jacuzzi tub with rain shower, luxury rustic furniture and upgraded mattress for your comfort. We stayed at the cabin for New Year's weekend. It was quiet and secluded and had amazing views. The cabin was outfitted with most of the things we needed. There were issues we found when we arrived and notified guests services of. The cabin could use some maintenance.

The stay overall was pretty good. Location was nice. However, the cabin was a bit outdated and lacking thorough cleaning. The toiletry offerings as well as the amenities are less than typical Marriott standard. At almost $1000 per night I would expect more for the money. In Marriott terms, it had the feel of staying at a Courtyard, but at the price of a luxury property such as Ritz, JW etc. The movie theater room was not ideal - there are more than 5 remotes, the instructions on the wall are incorrect, and the HDMI cord plugged into the DVD player wasn’t connected to was just hanging. We reached out to figure out how to fix it and they just told us to read instructions on the wall...which didn’t work. Thankfully we figured it out ourselves. When we arrived, there seemed to be quite a bit of dust that hadn’t been cleaned in a while, there was piles of dirt that had been swept up but not thrown away just sitting, stuff still in sinks, the beds were haphazardly made with the comforter sticking out, there was trash and toilet paper left from the previous stay that looked like it was forgotten about, and the “toiletries” we were given was about 16 bars of 1.5” soap disks. And we asked for more trash bags because we were only given 2, and that is not included for the price we pay - only 2 bags are. Overall, the location is the best part about this property but wouldn’t stay again or recommend to someone else at the price we paid.

Pictures can be deceiving. Floors had water damage and bulky, dust was everywhere, you couldn’t go without shoes or your feet would be nasty, the bedding was dingy and not fresh, hot tub had an odor, the fireplace wouldn’t work, the hot water stopped working and it took forever for service, the refrigerator wouldn’t make ice, the upstairs tub had a horrible patching job from damage, and very low water pressure.

Got there around 10pm on the night of check in. Went straight to bed. The next night before bed, want to straighten out the bed and saw a good bit of dried blood on both sheets. Bedding had never been changed from the previous renter. We had slept on someone’s dried blood. Make matters worse. Had to wait 2 hours for all new bedding throughout the cabin because no one was immediately available. 12am before “maintenance” brought our bedding. No refund for the cleaning charge either.

Elk Springs Resort Cabin Rentals was AMAZING!!! My family to include my in-laws made the trip up to Gatlinburg and stayed in the Eagles Nest cabin. Upon walking in through the door my entire family fell in love with the cabin. As I looked around at my family members I could literally see all stress leave their bodies. Everyone was instantly relaxed. My kids had a blast playing pool, my MIL absolutely loved the sauna! I enjoyed the arcade on the bottom floor. The entire family loved the movie theatre. We all loved the views of the Smokey mountains! My wife loved how quiet and private it was. We had an absolute blast!!! We did not want to leave. I can't recommend Elk Springs Resort Cabins enough! Will definitely book again in the near future!

This was our 2nd stay at Eagles Nest and we absolutely love this place! We come to Gatlinburg 3-4 times a year and this cabin does not disappoint. Plenty of room to spread out, an amazing theater room, and some of the easiest booking, check-in/checkout we have ever done! We will be returning this summer!

We needed some family downtime from the responsibilities of life! The property was great, the theatre, balconies, pool table and hot tub were a major hit! We were close enough to downtown Gatlinburg, but also just far enough away. The Mountain View was perfect. The weather for spring break in the mountains was great, a little cool, overnight freezes, a few flurries, but a great cool off from the Florida heat we are used to. The home had enough toiletries for the 4 of us, but if you have more in your group bring paper towels, trash bags, toilet paper, and extra bath towels. We brought extra blankets— which were great to go over the provided quilts. The local grocery- food city,- was great, very nicely stocked with fresh fruits veggies- and the butcher had great ribeyes to choose from.
We will be back!

This is our 3rd year in a row renting a cabin for my son's birthday and this is the 2nd time we've stayed in Eagle's Nest. There are so many things to do at the cabin that we hardly left. The kids had the whole downstairs to themselves with the home theater, hot tub, arcade games, and sauna. It was plenty big enough for 8 people. The staff was very helpful & they even called & texted to make sure we were enjoying our stay. We are already looking forward to next year!

The cabin was very clean, spacious, and has all the items in it to have a great vacation. The downside is how close the other cabins are to this one. You can see the hot tub next door from the main deck of the cabin. Otherwise, Elk Springs is very responsive and easy to work with. The area was very quiet.

Our cabin was a nice little getaway. As soon as you walked in, you could tell it was clean! The layout of the house was great. We really enjoyed the pool table and hot tub. It would have been nice to have had a fire stick or some kind of movie access in the theater without having to use DVDs. Because of this, I don’t think we actually used the theater at all! if I would’ve realized in advance, I would have brought a Firestick or Apple TV from home. Also, the beds were probably the most uncomfortable of any place I have stayed. This is something that could be a very easy fix! Foam mattress covers and some upgraded bedding would make a huge huge difference! I loved the use of the fireplace and how easy it was. There were no Christmas decorations up when we arrived on December 21. Thankfully my husband found a Christmas tree in a Closet downstairs and I put that up! That made a big difference since we were there the week of Christmas. I feel the whole rental staff was great! We enjoyed using the grill, and the kitchen was equipped with anything we needed. We had a very nice stay.

Our cabin was absolutely wonderful. The only complaints we had were the floors were very squeaky and we wished the tv in the movie theater room had cable or the ability to connect to streaming services. We didn't bring any movies and the ones in the cabin were outdated so we didn't get to use this room. We did have one maintenance issue but they responded immediately, corrected the issue and were very professional!

The cabin is located in a very nice location. It is close to the arts and crafts district, the local grocery store and several restaurants. All things that I looked for in a vacation stay. Check out the Alamo Steakhouse for dinner and Little House of Pancakes for breakfast. Both were great experiences for us!
Our cabin was mostly well maintained. However, there seems to be a lot of details missed when it comes to the exterior and the balconies. We had trash and, most disturbingly, a bunch of toe nail clippings all over the top balcony. In addition, the cabin offers a gas grill, which is a nice feature that we had planned to use. Sadly, the inside of the grill looks like it has never been cleaned. The grease is built up so badly that the left hand burners don’t even light so we were not able to use it. We were completely shocked when we took the kitchen trash out for the first time as well. The bottom of the inside of the kitchen trash can is so dirty that it should probably just be replaced.
The areas for us that didn’t hit 100% were very small details and did not take away from our overall stay. These are just things that need to be pointed out so that our next visit to Elk Springs can be even that much more amazing.
We would definitely stay here again and would recommend the area and the cabin to family and friends!

We so enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It had so many ammenties for the price we rented it at. Our family favorite had to be the theater room. We also loved the sauna, the huge jetted tubs and rain showers. The views off of each balcony were awesome! It was great having a cup of coffee and enjoying the deck. Elk Springs Resort reached out to us to make sure all of our needs were met. When we had an issue they were super quick to send someone to fix it. We will gladly visit in one of their cabins again.

I was disappointed in the cleanliness of the cabin, there was a lot of dust and dirt everywhere. It did not look like it was dusted in quite a while, the air intake vents were filthy (so how clean were the filters?). We all sneezed a lot. There were dust bunnies on the fans, beams, corners and stair railings. The hottub was clean and enjoyable. The view was beautiful. The theater room was very nice. The beds were very comfortable. It was very close to Gatlinburg, so we could get supplies and visit stores and shows.

A bit disappointed in the cleanliness of this cabin. To begin, there was a lot of trash littered around the property. Apparently past guests threw bottles and cans amongst other things, off of the decks. My husband (who paid nearly $2,000 to rent this cabin), took it upon himself to traverse the property and clean up all of the debris. He filled an entire garbage bag. This is something that should be done as the property changes renters. Very disappointing. The living room couch had all crumbs between the cushions, the theater room chairs also had crumbs all under the cup holders. Dead bugs filled the kitchen lights fixture, crumbs in the kitchen drawers, and a filthy, buttery dinner plate left in the kitchen cabinet. In addition to the cleanliness issues, we also had a problem with the DVD player and needed a replacement DVD player. We lost two nights of movie room time because of this. Needless to say, we did not tip our housekeeper at the end of our stay. For the price we paid for this home for the week, we were very disappointed. This was also our second time renting from Elks Springs Resort. We will probably look elsewhere next time we visit the Smokies.

We rented this cabin for my son's 17th birthday party. He picked it out because of all the amenities at this cabin & he was not disappointed! He and his friends loved playing pool and using the hot tub. But the big hit of the weekend was the theater room. They watched movies and played his PS4 on the big screen! The cabin was very clean and you could tell it was well maintained. We all needed this getaway after the crazy year we've had and it was so relaxing and fun!

We loved staying at this cabin! The hot tub, sauna, and movie room were all lovely and the cabin comfortably slept 6 adults. Its close to town and an easy drive with a great view. We would definitely come back!

We stayed at Eagles Nest from 12/20/20-12/26/20. We acknowledge that a huge snowstorm knocked out power at the end of the week, and that was out of Elk Springs' control. Our disappointment comes from Elk Springs' lack of communication and failure to provide alternatives. The power loss not only knocked out heat and appliances (so no way to cook or store food and no hot water), but also cut off all communication, as cell phones did not work with no WiFi and the only landlines in the cabin were cordless phones that require electricity. Elk Springs made no effort to communicate with cabins to ensure guests had food or if they wanted to make alternate arrangements.
In addition, we had a rodent problem - a chipmunk that got into the cabin at least twice. My son spent 2 of the 5 nights we slept at the cabin listening to a rodent scurrying around his bedroom. The cabin was generally well maintained and had some nice amenities (the media room was great; no clue about the hot tub or sauna as the multi-day power outage occurred during the time we planned to use those). But overall, there were issues. For a cabin that supposedly sleeps 10, there were 6 towels/washcloths. Multiple light bulbs were out. The jacuzzi jets in one tub would turn themselves on while the shower was running. And the rain shower heads had so little water pressure they were nearly unusable.
When we e-mailed Elk Springs after our trip about these issues, the response we received was: "We are very sorry to hear that your stay was not enjoyable. We appreciate your detailed feedback this will definitely be helpful in improving our cabins. Have a good night."
Elk Springs bills itself as "A Luxury Cabin Resort." Neither the experience nor the customer service meets that label.

This is the second time we have stayed at the Eagle's Nest cabin. We love the property and the management team. The latter are great communicators and the former is wonderfully laid out with plenty of places to relax and recoup. However, we were woken numerous times during our weekend stay due to rats crawling and gnawing in the walls and ceilings. This scared our two young children immensely and no one slept well the whole weekend. The rats would start partying around 9:30 and not stop until the sun rose. We all switched bedrooms several times in the night to try to allow for sleep, but because of the nature of the cabin's acoustics; it did not matter where you moved to, you could still hear the rats. I would expect that something as expensive a night as this rental (and rightly so because it is beautiful) would afford rest and relaxation, but we were unable to sleep more than a few hours total each night (and we are not light sleepers).
