1. The lady receptionist was very nice, initially i was disappointed that i was taken to a room that i hadn't seen in the pictures....she was nice enough to relocate me to a better room and that completely changed my mind about the place
She was really the hero in all this, thank you so much (i didn't get her name, but brown lady at reception)
2. The wifi was also very decent in the room she took us to.
3. I had gotten a "secret deal" offer which was great because i paid good price for nice place
4. they have nice events....we attend a "buffet" where they offered transport to and fro to the other pilipili where the event was happening. The food was really good there
5. They have maintenance guys on site so incase something is off, like shower not working...they will respond quickly

He asked us on exit,if we had paid and how much we had paid
Instead of simply inquiring from the waitress who served us, found that strange.
2. The shower heater didn't work for us even after they tried to fix but it was okay to use cold shower as its hot environment anyway

Das Frühstück ist in Ordnung und die direkte Strandlage ist ein Pluspunkt. Das Personal ist freundlich, obwohl sie häufig versuchen, zusätzliche Veranstaltungen anzubieten.
Für den Preis war das zu erwarten: Nach nur zwei Tagen sind wir frustriert abgereist, ohne uns auf Diskussionen einzulassen, um eine Rückerstattung zu erhalten. Wenn man billig übernachten möchte, könnte man dieses Hotel in Betracht ziehen. Doch die Zimmer sind dringend renovierungsbedürftig. Ein leichter feuchter Zug durchzieht sie, und die Klimaanlage hat ihre besten Tage hinter sich. Alles ist alt; die Duschbrause funktioniert nur noch halbwegs, weil das Wasser nicht mehr aus dem Brausekopf, sondern seitlich herauskommt (verstopft). Überall liegt Sand, sodass wir das Hotelzimmer nur mit Schuhen betreten konnten.
Außerdem wird man um 6 Uhr morgens von einem Hahn geweckt, da die Lüftungslöcher in den Zimmern nicht vollständig abgedichtet sind und Geräusche von außen durchdringen. Es lohnt sich wirklich nicht, Geld zu sparen, denn am Ende zahlt man doppelt, wenn man ein anderes Hotel bucht.

L’état de la chambre, sensation d’humidité, bruit de la climatisation de la chambre voisine. Non respect de l’utilisation d’une soit disant piscine privée, qui au final était également utilisée par les autres résidents de l’hôtel… bref peu de considération pour les clients.

Pili pili Uhuru is a beautiful place located right near the beach. We were only here for one night but loved the luxurious feeling the place offers. Amazing buffet breakfast with so many options! Staff is very young, but very kind! Rooms were pretty clean. It is amazing that you can just walk right to the beach in a few steps.
The room had a bit of a weird smell to it & the floor was pretty sandy. However this didnt bother us as it literally felt like we lived on the beach! Also, the water of the se at this spot is very far away a big part of the day. Quite a lot of beachboys & local people intruding your private space, however you learn to deal with this!

Unsere Erwartungen wurden erfüllt, kleinere Anlage mit toller Strand-Atmosphäre (front row). Schöner Pool, nette Menschen, alle sehr hilfsbereit. Netter, einfacher Bungalow, mehr braucht man eigentlich nicht.
Das Bett war sehr kurz, Klima-Anlage und Kühlschrank haben leider nicht funktioniert, aber Fan war auch o.k. Wir hatten Zimmer 103, und der Generator steht direkt hinterm Zimmer - tagsüber vernachlässigbar, aber wenn der Strom ausfällt, ist es laut. Da muss man locker bleiben. Insgesamt passt Preis-Leistung zusammen und uns hat's gefallen.

leider hat keiner der angegebener Services funktioniert
Klimaanlage lief aber ohne zu Kühlen
Badezimmer benötigen eine Desinfektion sowie Renovierung (zum Silvester waren mehrere Zimmer einige Stunden ohne Wasser ohne jegliche Interesse an der Lage was zu ändern)
Zustand der Zimmer ist fraglich, da weder die Tür noch die Fenster - in einem akzeptablen Zustand waren
Sevice - keins vorhanden, Freundlichkeit für die Rezeption ein Fremdwort - dafür wird man regelmässig zu Touren aufgefordert, die man im Hotel buchen soll (nicht wo anders)
Handtücher werden vormittags gesammelt und bis am Abend sind keine vorhanden, auf Anfrage mit Antwort `right now´haben wir auf welche 3 Tage lang gewartet
wegen Zimmersafe wurde 4x wer anderer geschickt, bis wir 2 Tage später ein Ersatzschlüssel bekommen haben

Ongelofelijk vriendelijk en behulpzame medewerkers. Prachtige lokatie, direct aan het strand met uitzicht op helderblauwe zee. Een lekker ontbijt met vers fruit, sap, eieren naar wens gebakken, pannenkoeken en soorten brood, heerlijk.
Dagelijkse schoonmaak van kamers zeer flexibel(ivm slaapjes van baby) en schoon/netjes.
Managers niet heel vriendelijk. Ook niet tegen medewerkers(die wel allervriendelijkst zijn). Bij aankomst laat in de avond was er geen babybedje, ondanks dat ik die wel had aangevraagd en app contact had gehad. De manager wilde het de volgende dag pas regelen. Erop gestaan dat ik een klein kind niet in een gewoon bed kan leggen, uiteindelijk werd het goed geregeld.

Breathtaking view, large bedrooms, nice breakfast, clean and beautiful pools.
No curtains in the windy rooms (the staff nailed blankets on the wall), scary staircase for the children to reach the apartment, lack of interior finishing touches: it seems to be completed yet. Overall, the cost seems oversestimated compared to the quality of the apartment.

Everything. Firstly, a huge shoutout to the staff in the property. They are the sweetest people. They went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We were provided with the best rooms after we we were not happy with the room provided initially. About the food, even thought it was a little pricier the taste and quality of the food was excellent. The complimentary breakfast was amazing and we were given fresh fruit juices and tender coconuts.
One of the rooms didn’t have continuous hot water.

Beautiful and relaxing restaurant area with a nice pool and great view to the ocean. The staff is very friendly and attentive.
The room is very basic and the bathroom in particular is not exactly like shown in the pictures and needs better maintenance.

Staff is excellent. They've made us a nice surprise for our kid celebrating his birthday,
They have overbooked our accommodation. We've come to the place, and they've tried to put us in a basic room in the backyard, despite promissed otherwise in advance. We've paid for a beachfront apartment in total one month prior arrival. They've moved us into another hotel Pili Pili Sunrise, which was nice, but we've missed the sand under our feet there... :( For the top, they've double charged us (still waiting for returning money), and some other little things, that happen, because they are just too big to manage everything.

The staff were amazing !! I was welcomed by June & he was so kind . He was so smooth explaining to me about the hotel facilities & made me laugh too . It was a very pleasant welcoming. He also checked on me every breakfast time & made sure that I’m not missing anything during my stay . Isabel was very kind & took for me pictures as I was alone . She was so nice & made sure to assist me every time I asked for help . The location & the surrounding is amazing too
Just add a blanket to the rooms please . I was freezing because of the AC & there was no remote

Staff warmth, flexibility to relocate to another Pilipili property. The activities were exceptional with enough entertainment and excursions for customers.
More improvement needed on menu, especially a variety for the locals as well. The water pressure was low and heating capacity of the heaters in the showers was low. Some staff need to watch their language and not include cursing words, imagining if I was traveling with kids it would have been uncomfortable as they get to pick words and for a chance it could be bad.

Very good value for money. Nice beachfront location. Free activity (snorkeling) offered. We were upgraded to a better room after the first night. Masai evening with bufet diner was enjoyable.
Beds are not very comfortable. The first room we stayed in was very dark and damp, without AC. Other rooms we stayed in were better even though we had to move twice within the hotel during four days.

The greatest asset for this property are their staff! VERY FRIENDLY, welcoming and supportive and kind. they made our stay extremely pleasant and it will be the best memories ever! The resort is right by the beach. There are security 24/7 so you feel safe. Cleaning comes everyday twice a day and there different foods to taste for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The bathrooms are clean and very sleek the water pressure in the shower are perfect if you need good water pressure and modern as well, the rooms they still have a Zanzibar feel to them and they still capture the essence of this place. I would definitely recommend Pili Pili Uhuru.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. When my son got a bad sun burn, they organised leaves of Aloe Vera for us which helped a lot. Also the guide Ernesto is very helpful: he organised a snorkeling tour etc for a.good price.

Very friendly personal. They can find every problem solution. Our rooms was directly on the beach. View was amazing and magical. Beach area is very clean and clear water with nice waves. Wifi works well. So thankful for this experience. I hope we visit you again someday.

The property is very nice in general. It’s nicely located, right on the beach, with a wide variety of rooms. There are 2 pools, a very nice restaurant with all around service and a kite surfing school.
They also helped organise all your trips/activities.
