We loved our trip and would definitely come back.

beautiful location and room, staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

unfortunately the tv didn’t work. it would’ve been good to have a non memory foam pillow option.

Great place to explore Sliema and beyond

Great location, wonderful size room and quiet space to relax.

Air conditioning was not always effective and left the room smelling a bit damp.

Das Hotel hat eine zentrale Lage in Sliema, aber am besten war das außerordentlich freundliche Personal vor allem Jesus und Jurgen! Unbedingt die Suite mit dem großem Balkon buchen auf der 4. Etage!

Sweet short stay

We got a free upgrade to a room with balcony. There are car parks available but make sure you reserve in advance. 10 min walk to the restaurants and shops in Silema

Palazzo Violetta is overpriced for what you actually get.

It is boutique, but a bit too over glamorised in its descriptions. The pool view rooms give a view of the pool if you look down from the edge of the small balcony. The actual views out of windows / doors of the pool view rooms are not nice at all. You have a view into the back of depressing old buildings with no beauty at all. ‘Pool view’ description is total nonsense and a deceptive tactic.

1. The disabled bars and frameworks in the bathroom. 2. Breakfast was not included in my Tariff, however I did take up a 13 Euro breakfast on one morning. The buffet style facility was very much below standard and there was very little cooked food left, with another hour remaining for breakfast service. The coffee was terrible and I was unable to heat or froth milk for my coffee.

Perfect stary in Malta

This place is great! Very clean rooms, comfortable beds and pillows, quiet air conditioning. Its only 7-10 minutes walk to Balluta Bay - where you can find good restaurants, pubs, public beach, boat rides etc. And around 10-15 minutes walk to ferry. The breakfast is simple but delicious, and there are also nice cocktails and drinks that you can order for an extra fee. The pool is nice, not too big, but enough for swimming and refreshing - there is also a lot of shade where you can hide from the scorching sun. The service is just brilliant - very nice and helpful staff, we had problems with the electricity in our room but they moved us to another one and we got a free breakfast for the inconvenience.I highly recommend this hotel.

A lovely stay and I would return

Lovely room and terrace, it was clean and a delightful little hotel.

The air con in the room was not powerful enough and it took a long time to lower the heat in the room. However, it was extra hot when I was there and it may be better at other times. Additionally the temperature of the shower was quite erratic.

Great boutique hotel stay

Lovely big room with a spacious balcony. Very friendly staff. Nice little pool area with bar.

A small detail, but needed another towel hook in bathroom.

Nice quiet stay near Valletta

Room was a great size with a lovely balcony overviewing the pool area. Free amenities like tea and coffee, cutlery, shower gel/shampoo etc. Service was great. Local area was quiet.

Location: It was a little out the way to get to if you're travelling there from Valletta. By ferry was more convenient, but the walk from Sliema to the hotel was 15 minutes mostly uphill, which was a bit of a workout. The bus goes the long way round and the times we tried to take it, it was late or didn't turn up so we had to take an Uber instead. Room: the bathroom design is a bit of a strange choice. The glass doors separating the room and bathroom didn't really leave much to the imagination and the shower having the same flooring as the room was also an interesting choice as the water seeped out into the room at times.

Superb

The hotel and staff were excellent. The location for one of our party wasn't ideal as to get to the hotel involved a walk uphill or a taxi ride. If you're able-bodied, then it's a ten minute walk from local bars and restaurants. The rooms were clean and well equipped, as was the rest of the hotel. Would happily stay again and recommend to others.

Clean, spacious rooms with fantastic staff

Lovely room, small balcony overlooking the pool. Every facility and exceptionally clean. Location of hotel great for Sliema front and the Valetta ferry, and also for Baluta and Spinola bays with lovely restaruants and bars. Uphill walk back from each of those locations but we didnt mind. Staff were so pleasant.

Nice place needs some air in the rooms

The location is great and easy to navigate around the island. Staff was good and helpful. Rooms clean and tidy. The building is beautifully renovated.

We upgraded the room that was supposed to be a studio with a kitchenette, but I still found it rather small. Mosquitos weren’t a nice addition to the feel and the room was really stuffy at times.

Beautiful hotel, spotlessly clean, fantastic location

The restoration of the original building had been done beautifully, you feel like your in a piece of Maltese history. The hotel spotlessly clean. The staff are helpful and kind yet respect your privacy. The location is excellent and it’s extremely good value for money! Highly recommend!

One tiny thing, the bulbs in the lamps in the bedroom are very bright! Others may not find this a problem but we’d recommend they were changed for a lower wattage.

Incredible staff

The staff were absolutely amazing and very accommodating. The beds were so comfy after a long day of travel. Definitely a little gem worth trying for yourself

Superb

The staff was very helpful and kind. The location is quite good between two different beach/party areas, but totally calm where the hotel is. Very comfortable beds.

The room had stone, cold floors (good in summer probably, but not so much in 'winter'). And the audibility from the corridors and other rooms.. was very high.

Nice staff

Check out is at 11 AM. I asked to postpone the check out to 12 PM (1 hour) and my request was satisfied. But sadly I had to pay for that around 18€.
