Comfortable but pricey for average hotel

Hotel staff were lovely and very helpful. Hotel itself has a nice ambience and I liked their idea of having real plants everywhere. Breakfast was plentiful. Hot tea/coffee freshly made served by lovely staff - 2 good ladies.

Location - Google map takes to a dead end, the hotel is off from a narrow road up a short off track road. Facilities - no tea/coffee facilities in room. We stayed at a family suit - it was not much of a suite rather two rooms separated by a toilet/shower room in between. Room themselves had usual desks etc but only one had cloth storage. Master bedroom was too small for the bed and furniture in it. Breakfast - cold, even fried egg was dead cold as it was pre-made and ready at table before we even arrived there. Price - for the standard, location and facilities - too expensive

the hotel is close to the center of the city of Tirana, the breakfast is good and abundant, the staff is very very friendly.

wifi internet does not exist (if internet is important to you, avoid this hotel)

Best value hotel

Amazing place. The staff was super polite and ready to please all the requests such as reservations in other restorants, clubs, taxi, buses etc. The place was located 5 minutes drive from the center of Tirana but the best part was the quietnes on the hotel and the size of the room. The room was huge, almost the double size of a standard room on other hotels and very very clean. Not to forget that all the rooms had balconies and flowers and trees were surrounding the hotel and the amazing pool. Best place to have coffe during sunny days. I highly recomend this place, as the ultimate family vacations nest.

staff is very friendly and helpful! Cleaners did well regarding the daily cleaning. Breakfast is simple but ok.

2 showers hang loose. We wondered why nobody did see that. It was fortunately repaired quickly. The rooms look old. If you ask me they should be renovated. Some spots are dirty, cleaning is only possible by replacement of the material. the wardrobe did not open and close properly. There was dust in the wardrobe. The water of the swimming pool was cloudy.

close to the city, pool to cool off and buffet breakfast. very lovely staff

this little jewel is a 15 min walk from the city and restaurants. lots of supermarkets and other shops in the area

Lovely staff, clean rooms and a great pool area.

Great pool area, it was nice and quiet, staff were lovely, room was really clean and breakfast was good. Staff were helpful and booked our taxi to the bus station the next morning too.

Not a 4*

The staff is nice and helpful. The pool is cool and suitable also for small kids. The hotel is child friendly. Our room was spacious and the kind size bed very comfy. The overall level of cleanliness is good.

This is NOT a 4* hotel. The building is old as well as the furniture in the rooms, at the bar and restaurant. Poor value for money. The hotel is 10 minutes by car form the city Center. The breakfast was good but too poor for a 4* hotel. The staff is friendly, but they are very disorganised with everybody doing everything (i.e the waitress also responsible to collect money). Last but not least, I expect that in a restaurant of a 4* star hotel in the heart of the Albanian capital, electronic payment are accepted!!

Wonderful room, very kind staff. Great swimming pool. It has been a wonderful stay.

Breakfast with few sweet things (i.e. cakes, biscuits), more oriented to north/east Europe and Albanian customers.

Orchidea Hotel is run by a family and they are all superfriendly and welcoming. They were ready to help us at any time with anything. So nice! Our room was very big for a hotel room and had anything we needed. Everything was superclean and the swimming pool was amazing. Perfect to use before and after visiting Tirana center in 36 degrees! The hotel is located on walking distance from the center, but in a nice and quiet neigbourhood. We loved our stay here!

They play loud music at the pool all day long. We would have prefered that more quiet... :-)

Excellent choice for a city break

Pool area was a Green Oasis in the middle of the city especially in the heat in July .Very friendly staff especially Owner Genti he made us feel like family . Highly recommended this hotel .
