All in all, I had a great stay at Koukaki Home and would definitely recommend it.

Koukaki Home is a wonderful place to stay in Athens and I'd be happy to stay there again. Gregory is an excellent host, very responsive, helpful and accommodating. The apartment is comfortable and clean, with a very comfortable bed and excellent AC (a must in Athens) and resides on a quiet street. It's a small studio; I traveled alone so it was perfect but it does not accommodate more than 2 comfortably. It took me about 15 mins (with luggage) to walk to and from the nearest metro which is Siggrou Fix and it is a short walk to the Acropolis. As a woman traveling alone I felt completely safe, even when walking back late. For high season (I was there in July) it was fairly priced.

It's a first floor apartment, so there is not a lot of natural light but that didn't matter to me as I was mostly there to sleep. I've stayed in Koukaki before, pre-Covid when the neighborhood was more bustling and lively, though it still has its charms yet one sees more boarded storefronts (like everywhere sadly).

Clean and very comfortablel to stay

The hotel was clean and very comfortable. The owner is very nice and attentive to our need. Made us very comfortable. He also gave us great recommendations for the city to tour if we were interested. He was very quick to respond when we messaged him if we had any questions. Will definitely recommend this 👌 to anyone.

The bathroom was a bit too small inside the shower area. 🚿 but it was very clean. Can't complain 😌

Exceptional

Gregory was absolutely best host. Polite, informative and helpful. Few days before our trip we received the tips for Nice places and trip ideas in different categories like museums, taverns, bars and so on. Would recomend to anybody, deffinitely coming back.

Favourite location in Athens

Fair stay

Gregory is a very communicative host, he waited for us at the property to hand over the keys and explain us about the facilities and the surroundings. The apartment is located in a very vivid and friendly area, with lots of bars, coffee shops and restaurants in the nearby proximity and at about 10 minutes distance from the metro. The apartment is very well-equipped in terms of electronic appliances.

It was a bit cold during our first night and in terms of bed sheets, there wasn't any that you could tuck in the blanket (that was looking a bit too worn whatsoever). Also, the cleaning could have been done better. I would also suggest the usage of some air fresheners at least in the bathroom.

Very good

The owner was very helpful. Sent a lot of instructions and waited for me even though my flight was delayed. The apartment is located in a very nice neighbourhood, very close to the archeological sites

Exceptional

So close to Acropolis!!! NIce area with bars, restaurants and lots of shops. The studio was nice, clean and comfy. Gregory was there to welcome us, very friendly and helpfull. He gave us some amazing recomendations about which area of the city to visit and what to do and a couple of awesome taverns.

Definitely recommended

The owner was very helpful. Good location, only 5 minutes' walk from restaurants and bars. Very comfy room.

Only as a suggestion, some basic breakfast amenities could be offered eg. coffee sachets, a bottle of water.

Great apartment, great host!

An apartment at a great location, walking distance to the acropolis close to some very nice bars and restaurant. The owner is really great, send us a list of his favorite places (they where great). Apartment is perfect, clean and has everything you need. Would definitely recommend!

Nice choice for a short stay to explore Athens

The apartment is clean and comfortable, conveniently located in a short walking distance from major attractions. The host was very friendly and helpful to give any recommendations and tips. Go to 7CACTUS for breakfast and Mani Mani for diner.

The shower head didn't hold at the top position which was a bit annoying when washing head.
